Hope

Tyrin's POV

I woke up to the buzzing of an alarm in my ear. I cut it off and sat there, I was still tired but I had to get up. I did my daily hygienics and got dressed. I was going to make some breakfast but I ad to be at the house to get up everything in an hour. "Goodbye mom and dad" I say to myself as I walk out the house. I stopped by Burger King on the way to the house and I got a text. "Hey Ty, im here at your parents house we have a buyer but I just need you to finish getting the rest of your stuff." I was happy to read that, I had to sell the house to finish paying for the cremation of my parents and Dani's bills. The doctors has been working with me cause they know my situation.

I pulled up to the house and saw Jerry out there just waiting. "Hey Jerry." I saw as I walked up to him. "How you doing man." he replied as we shook hands. "Well im doing man." He chuckled it off and started to walk to the house. "So we do have a buyer for 15 thousand, and I know I said I wont charge until the sale is complete so once we finish cleaning this out we can discuss payment." I nodded my head in agreement and went to start cleaning. "Also I have a garbage man coming tomorrow morning so what ever your throwing away just set it to the curb." I heard him yell throw the rooms. "Gotcha Jerry." we got back to cleaning and almost everything that I touched made me tear up. Everything brought back memories and times I would never be able to enjoy again. My parents room was cleaned out already only thing left was mine and Dani's. Jerry went to finish mine off I didn't want anything in there because I took all that I needed. As I walked into Dani's old room I just started breaking down. Its been so long since I seen her smile, or even heard her voice. "You okay man?" Jerry said walking into the room. "Yeah just trying to keep it together." I said avoiding eye contact. "It's okay man she's going to wake up soon." he said to me. "Shit I hope so."

I Finished cleaning her room I packed up everything she had but the beds and dressers since they were old. I was panning to the get her new furniture once she wakes up. "Finally done, you hungry man." Jerry said to me as he brought out the last box. "Yeah I could eat." "Well follow me lets go eat my treat, then we can discuss payment too." I nodded in agreement and headed to my car. I followed Jerry into an IHOP. It was empty so we sat in the back. The waiter came and asked what we wanted to drink. I got a sweet tea with a lemon and Jerry got a iced water. "So lets get down to business man." Jerry said as he pulled out some folders. "But first I just to say since the accident I know things has been hard, but you kept your word with everything. You work hard to pay everything even though your only 18. You didn't graduate but you got your GED and got straight to work. I watched you mature and grow as a man keeping your hopes alive to take care of business even with your sister in a coma. So I just want to say I know we usually charge by a percentage of 30-70 but on behalf of me and my business we want to give you 100 percent of the royalty's of the sales." I just started crying I couldn't hold it in no more. I was so happy I was excepting only like 8 thousand back but with this I can catch up on bills and get a new car. "Thank you man I cant tell you how much this means to me Jerry. You've been there for me since the accident. You gave me a place to sleep until I could buy my own home. You've fed me and helped me get my GED, you even gave me my first car not to mention taught me how to drive. You didn't have to do none of that but you did anyway. So thank you man really." I just kept crying I couldn't believe what was happening. We signed the documents and we both headed our own ways. I didn't have to work today so I was going to spend the rest if the day at the hospital.

"How you doin Ty?" Angela said as she seen me. "Im okay got some good news its been an okay day just hope it get better with Dani waking up. Any news?" I said as I walked into the room. "Sadly no but we no longer need to run test her injuries are fully healed were just waiting for her to wake up." she said smiling looking at her clip board. "You hear that Dani all you have to do is wake up and we can go home." I grabbed her hand and gripped it tightly, "Your big brother misses you so much." I leaned down and kissed her head and went o sit down. Angela was still in the room with me, and she walked over, "Hey I know im late on this months bill but I found a seller for the house so I should be able to pay for everything in about 2 weeks." I told her as I took the slip from her, I thought it was a bill but was a piece of paper with her number on it. "No it not that, but ill let them know that. But its my number im getting off soon so just give me a call and maybe I can treat you too lunch sometime." I smiled and nodded "Ill be looking forward to it. You know what im off today and its been a good day. I was going to stay here and celebrate with Dani you could come back to celebrate with me if you wanted to." "I would love to." She replied smiling. I never noticed how beautiful her smile was until now. She walked out and I looked over to Dani. I told her all the good news that happened today and before I knew it, it was dark outside.

I found myself sitting on the couch watching TV. I got hungry and I was going to get me something to eat. I heard a knock at the door. "Hey its me." Angela said as she slowly walked in. she was dressed in a nice fitting black Tshirt with blue jeans and black shoes. She was stunning. "I'm glad you could make it I was actually about to get something to eat did you want to ride?" She nodded in agreement and we were on our way out. "Ill be right back Dani im just going to get something to eat." I said before I shut the door. We headed to Red lobster, that was the families go to spot for any celebration.

"Oue fancy huh? Should have told me I would have looked a little better." Angela said laughing as we pulled up. "Its okay you still look beautiful." She started to blush I couldn't stop looking at her. "What?" she said chuckling. "I got something on my face or something.' she pulled down the mirror and looked at her face. "No your just gorgeous and im really happy you came with me." Her face just slowly turned even more red. "Thank you Ty, im really happy you invited me out." We got out not to soon after and Angela got a call. "Hello, yes this is her. No, can't be she was just fine 15 minutes ago. Yes. Im on my way now." Her eyes started to water as she spoke. She turned to me with sadness filling her eyes. My stomach dropped, and something didn't feel right anymore. "We hae to get back to the hospital they said that Dani's had a seizure and she flatlined." Before I know it I was in the car tears filing my eyes as we were rushing to the hospital.
