Thoughts before the battle

Moonlight shone through the glass panes
Windows of the hall, as a bloody skeleton stood in the middle of it. The skeleton was waiting, waiting for a human. If he could ever call them that...
They did this,
THEY sent him on this path,
THEY killed everyone he loved.
Their fault,
their fault...
IT'S THEIR FAULT!
All their fault...
they made him do this..
they betrayed him,
Took away his trust,
Took away all he cared about,
And did it over and over...
It drove him to insanity.
It drove him to murder.
It all started as a idea 67 genoside routes ago,
He was so easily defeated by the human
So many times...
no matter how hard he fought,
The human would reign victorious..
maybe it had to do with the fact that he only had 1 HP?
Yeah, he'd always be the weak one.
With only 1 DF, 1 ATK..
You'd have to DREAM to beat a human with those stats..
He never wanted to stoop to their level, but he was slowly out of options..
...
He was sick of dreaming.
The 84th genoside was the day he finally snapped.
He needed- no, HAD to get more power,
He needed LOVE...
He'd pull his hood over his head
As his eyes flickered,
Changing in color.
As the voices in his head dragged him deeper into these dark thoughts, his eye began to glow in a crimson color, with a sinister
Purple in the center..
he had truly lost his mind.
He'd set out out on his own genoside route..
The murder spree has begun.
"If I gain enough power before the human arrives, I'll surely beat them!"
He giggled,
He seemed fully convinced that this was the only option..
He'd set out in the snowy town, searching for his first victim.
He was passing by the door to the ruins, he saw it was open..?
Curious, he peeked inside.
-it was the old lady behind the door!
She was blocking the exit as the human stood in front of her, a murderous glint in their eyes.
Oh GREAT they already fell down...
That's okay, he can manage this.
He just needs to get them before the human does.
...she's distracted, perfect time to strike.
"My child, I cannot let you go any further!
It is too dangero— AUGH!"
Before toriel could complete her sentence-
A sharp bone purple in color had impaled her.
The human looked tooken a back,
Leaning to see who fired the attack.
Toriel had fallen to her knees as her pupils shrank and blood dripped down the side of her mouth.
Sans stood there, watching.
The human glared at the skeleton,
that was THEIR EXP!
He TOOK it.
Toriel had dusted. Sans gained the LV.
"Be patient kid, I'll be ready to play with you soon."
Sans chuckled before taking a short cut,
Disappearing.
The human had to stop him before he stole all their kills. They was DETERMINED.
...
Sans continued
To dust any monster that dared get in his way,
His level increased one by one,
His stats raised,
He was able to take more hits,
He could EASILY take someone out with one hit.
The p o w e r . . .
Muffet was easy,
Alphys didn't even put up a fight,
He quickly turned metaton into scrap metal,
Undyne had actually proved to be difficult-
She had gotten a pretty good amount of hits
On him,
But in the end, she was no match against
His ATTK and DF.
One of the easiest bosses was also the hardest
At the same time..
It was against papyrus.
His sweet, innocent, baby brother...
Papyrus had been looking for his brother, worried about his wellbeing...
"SANS? SANS WHERE ARE YOU?!"
Sans had walked forward, hearing papyrus's voice.
Papyrus turned to sans, his expression a soft smile as he sighed.
"SANS! THERE YOU ARE! I WAS SO WORRIED!"
Sans didn't say a word.
"I WAS INFORMED THAT THERE IS SOMEONE WHOM HAS BEEN DUSTING MONSTERS, SO I AM GLAD TO SEE THAT YOU'RE SAFE!"
Oh his sweet innocent mind...
So blissfully unaware..
Sans took a few steps forwards,
Papyrus could clearly see his older brother
Covered with dust and blood.
Papyrus gasped.
"SANS? OH NO ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!"
"..I'm fine bro.."
"B-BUT YOU'RE COVERED IN—"
Sans had cut him off.
"L-lets just get this over with... quickly."
Papyrus tilted his head.
"..WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?"
Instead of answering,
Sans proceeded to fire attacks at his own
Brother...
The one he'd promised to protect,
Was the next victim in this sick twisted game.
Papyrus screamed at him, BEGGED for him to stop...
But he didn't.
He continued without MERCY.
"Y-you don't understand... w-why I'm doing this..."
"The human.. they'll kill you OVER AND OVER AND OVER-"
He was repeating as if he was a broken record.
He snapped out of it and continued.
"If I had enough love.. I could beat them.. I could save all of us.. I could save y o u . . . "
"B-BUT SANS- YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO IT THIS WAY!"
"MAYBE WE CAN CONVINCE THE HUMAN TO STOP KILLING! THEN YOU W-WOULDN'T  HAVE TO TOO!"
"M-MAYBE IF WE WORK TOGETHER—"
"STOP!"
Sans shouted,
He continued.
"I WILL NOT LET THIS CONTINUE- I AM GOING TO STOP THE GENOSIDE..."
"Besides..."
His voice started to break.
"It'd be better to die at the hands of me rather than the human... right?"
Tears rolled down papyrus's face as he came to terms with the situation.
"S-Sans... I u-understand.."
"If this really means that much to you.."
"If you feel that this is going to help you in any way..."
"If  this will m-make you happy.."
"Then, I support you in every way!"
"P-pap, I'm-"
"Shush, it's alright sans.. I forgive you.."
"Nyeh, now go on, hit me with your best shot!"
Sans's eyes were hidden by his hood as he summoned a blaster in front of papyrus.
"I-I'm sorry."
He whispered in a shaky tone
As he proceeded to blast the only family he had left.
Papyrus didn't struggle,
He didn't scream,
He didn't do ANYTHING.
He just.. accepted it.
Sans looked away the entire time as he continued each blast.
With one final strike, papyrus faded into dust.
...
YOUR LV HAS INCREASED!

Sans had de-summoned the blaster as he walked towards the dust and kneeled in front of it.
"Heheh..."
The wind blew the dust away as he broke into a maniacal fit of laughter. Tears streaming down his face.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry...."
He looked up as he screamed loud enough for
The whole underground to hear.
"I'M SORRY!!!"
...

Sans had snapped out of his memories as he heard the sound of footsteps approaching.
Chars stood at the beginning of the hall,
Gripping the knife in their hands.
They spoke.
"I always wondered what the skeleton would break first.. his bones or his mind."
