The Chosen One

In the past~

All Might saved Izuku Midoriya from a villain. This villain escaped and attacked someone Midoriya knew. He ran into the flames to save Kastuki Bakugou, his bully. Because of this, All Might chose him.
"You can be a hero too, Izuku Midoriya. But you must train. You arent ready for One For All just yet. But you will be."
For ten months, Midoriya trained everyday. He worked and worked, pushing himself to the limit. Finally, All Might passed down his power to his successor. This was the day the New Chosen One came to be.

Present Time~

People have been suspecting me to be the Chosen One ever since the entrance exam to UA. Everyone witnessed me take out a giant robot that nobody else was willing to fight. Because I fought this robot and saved a girl, I got into UA. But I made a mistake during the entrance exam. No one can know that I am the Chosen One. Not yet. I still need to train. If people discover the truth, I will be targeted by every villain on the planet. That cant happen. Not yet.

Today is the first day of my second year at UA. UA has been attacked many times, but I fear that some day soon All Might will pass away and I'll have no other choice but to reveal the truth. He is getting weaker each day. Theres not much time. We cant allow the League of Villains to attack for the next two years.

"It has come to my attention that All Might is getting weaker. And it has come to my attention that the new Chosen One is still a mystery to you. But do not fear, we have a Chosen One. We just cannot reveal this person's identity until All Might is dead." Mr. Aizawa said to Class 1-A.
"So you know who it is? How old are they? Are they in our year?" Kirishima asked eagerly.
The entire class was on the edge of their seats. Deku played along for the sake of not being caught.
"That is classified information. But no need to get so eager. You will find out someday."
The entire class groaned and disappointment. Deku struggled to fight back a grin, as he knew who the Chosen One was. In fact, he was the chosen one. But he could not tell a soul.

Later at lunch

"Oh I wish I knew who the Chosen One was! All Might is getting weaker!"
"Me too! I cant wait to find out who the Chosen One is!"
"I have a feeling I know who it is." Todoroki said, sitting down at the table.
"Really? Who?" Deku asked.
"Well I think it's someone in our year. But obviously, they have to keep it a secret so they are acting along with everyone else."
"But who do you think it is?" Uraraka said, taking a bite out of her lasagna.
"Well my guesses probably arent very accurate. The first one I think it might be is Kirishima. He definitely has the heart of a hero. All Might probably chose him because of that. And I think he's just not showing the full potential of his power until All Might dies."
"Wow, that makes sense!" Deku said. Uraraka nodded in agreement.
"The second one I think it might be is Momo. She is a very good strategist and is good at one-on-one combat. If she was chosen, she probably also is hiding the full potential of her power."
"Ooh! It would be so cool if she was the Chosen One!" Uraraka giggled.
"Yes, I know. Now, the last one I think might be the Chosen One is you, Deku."
"M-me? No way!" Said Deku nervously.
"You are very powerful. No one even knows what it is. You als-"
"My power is a booster that increases strength and speed. It's called green lightning because lightning zaps out of me when I use it."
"Ok, well you also are a great strategist and have amazing one-on-one combat skills, similar to Momo. Not only that, but Bakugou said you were quirkless growing up."
"Well I didnt like to use it because it broke my bones up until recently. I was ashamed of it."
"My final reason as to why you are the Chosen One is because All Might seems to favor you."
"What? This is insane. If I were the Chosen One, I think I'd know. I'm just as normal as you guys."
"If we are thinking powerful, dont you think you or Bakugou would be chosen?" Uraraka asked.
"Bakugou is too prideful. All Might would never choose someone as aggressive and self-centered as Bakugou." Todoroki took several bites of his lasagna, choking it down quick when he realised he was still being watch by Uraraka and Deku. "And besides, I'm not the Chosen One. That would only give my dad what he wanted and All Might would clearly never do such a thing."
Uraraka and Deku mumbled in agreement.
Oh no! If Todoroki is suspecting me of being All Might's successor, maybe other people are too! This is not good. Not good at all. Deku thought to himself. He would have to tell this to All Might.
