They stared at the stars that glowed in the midnight sky, their hands holding onto the other for dear life.
A life that had barely began.
A life that ends so tragically as if the gods cursed their souls from their very first breath.
While they watched as the love of their life drew their last, they swore vengeance on the world that would burn down by their hands.
For which a world could no longer exist without their other half by their side.
As tears dripped from their sorrowful eyes and mixed with the droplets of rain, a tender kiss upon the warm cheek was left as they watched the deep red paint pool the chilling body.
Fairytales and happy endings exist,
but this was not that type of story.
