Sup. I'm back at it again. This might be weird seeing me update faster than I usually do but that's because I want to get this out of the way. That is because, like I said at the end of the last chapter the next chapter would be extra special since I literally can't get my mind off of it. I'd give you hint but that you jump to conclusions and I might just have to call the FBI on you. Anyway enjoy the chapter.
Continuing where things left off. Kaede had just accused Yumeko of being the traitor.
Kaede : I think it's evident she's been acting alone. The only chance she would've had to make a deal was during the explanation of the rules. There really wasn't anytime to conspire. I'd assume that Y/N was the person she would've worked with given their relationship but he isn't participating so i wrote him off. So the second traitor must be following her lead.
Itski : Hang on a minute. I fail to see how that makes sense.
Y/N : And how's that Yume and Tera we're the ones to set up the game. It'd be obvious to assume they had a deal from the start. For example if all of you lose Tera would pass her some votes. Making a side bet from the game itself is a good way to guarantee rewards. Or at least that what you we're thinking right Kaede?
Kaede looked to Y/N with a look of shock seeing that her perfectly voiced Kaede's theory almost word for word. Terano herself seemed genuinely surprised at the statement. Though not long after they both recomposed themselves.
Kaede : Yes. *Clears throat* That's all there is too it. Either deal with it or move on. And get this over with.
Itski : Do you seriously believe what you're saying? You're speculating that Yumeko proposed a side gamble to secure votes. There's just no way that can be right. *Thinks back to Kaede's official match* Have you somehow forgotten what Yumeko is. There was a time that you didn't only see what made her a slave to madness. You even factored it into your play. Your skills were beyond formidable, there were as genuine as they come and that made me so proud to beat you. * Tightens fist* Have you gone so soft in the head that you cant see past her basic nature anymore!
Kaede : *Pupils dilate* What did you say to me? Soft in the head!
Itski wiped the tears from her eyes and Rumia rung the bell signifying the end of their discussion period. And once everyone made their way to the room individually and made their donations to the box of the their choosing. Once finished Rumia emptied the tax box and counted the coins resulting in the total of 15 which when doubled came to thirty then divided came to 6 coins per person.
Ibara : None of us stand a chance at this rate.
Itski : Any ideas Yumeko what can we do here. *Looks to Yumeko then gasps*
Y/N : No point in asking now. She's on her high again.
Yumeko then went on one of her usual gambling high thing she has going on (Real tired of her shit at this point) She went off on one of her usual tangents of them not trusting her and her not trusting them. She spoke of the risk she would be feeling but didn't want to feel it all by herself. She then wrapped herself around Kaede like a stripper pole and he seemed to be pulled into her madness along side her. Y/N didn't even seem fazed by her actions seeing as Mira hugged him earlier though he felt a tinge of jealousy.
Kaede : *Laughs* Itski you said that I had gone soft in the head. You may be right. But I figured something out thanks to Yumeko.
Itski : You found a way to turn this around?
Kaede : *Takes Yumeko's hand* Turn around? The only thing people as soft as mee are good for are for holding people back. I'm just along for the ride!
