ERRORS AHEAD~~~

Jihyun checked the time on her phone. It was already 10pm and she didn't even notice that two days have already passed. She had been busy studying all night and all day keeping herself distracted from all the craziness that was still going on in the media. She thought that maybe after a week, their dating news would've died down because she had already broken off the relationship but for some reason it had resurfaced once again when another idol's dating news broke out.

And so, she promised herself that she would never look at the news again. At first, the comments bothered her but when she realized those harsh people that judge them have no right to say those things to them, she began to neglect it. The only thing that bothered her---no, frustrated her was that she couldn't see him anymore. More than anything, if only she could, she would've drove up to the EXO dorm and asked him if he was doing okay herselr or if he was eating well nevertheless, she had no intentions whatsoever of bringing their relationship back because it would only drive both of them crazy.

She rubbed both of her eyes trying to recollect herself and back to the real world. Her apartment was messier. It was as if the person living in it had left a big dog to occupy the apartment while the owner left for vacation. On the floor, there was a bunch of papers and psychology books--and as for the fate of the cacti plant that Kyungsoo had given her, it was still left untamed, unwatered and uncared for that it was beginning to look more like a big cotton swab on a pot.

When she decided to finally get up from her desk, she turned off the desk lamp and walked over to her bed but tripped on a book on the way there.

"Aish! Stupid sh~" Jihyun cried as she held on to the bottom of her foot in pain.

She walked over slowly and more cautiously this time to her bed to plop herself over it.

As she began to doze off, the doorbell began ringing rapidly.

She hissed in annoyance at the noise. She stayed in her bed and waited for the noise to go away, pretending as if no one was at the door.

Then she heard his familiar voice calling out for her against the door, "Jihyun, can we talk?"

~

The room was silent as soon as Jihyun let Kyungsoo enter her apartment. They exchanged some glances here and there but Jihyun busied herself as she boiled noodles for the both of them.

She stared at the wall in front of her, trying not to look at him but she failed almost entirely everytime she heard him shuffle around on the couch

She stared at the wall in front of her, trying not to look at him but she failed almost entirely everytime she heard him shuffle around on the couch. Perhaps she was scared that he will leave again. And she doesn't want that, atleast not right now when she's got him alone after their breakup.

Almost abruptly, she felt the cold air move against her shoulders which made her look back only to see he was right beside her, staring at the pot on the stove.
