THE 12 OLYMPIANS
(In no particular order)

1. Aphrodite - Goddess of Love and Beauty

2. Ares - God of war

3. Apollo - God of sun, arts, especially poetry and music, Archery, and divination or soothsaying

4. Athena - Goddess of wisdom, war, and crafts; patron of Athens

5. Artemis - Goddess of the hunt and protector of children

6. Dionysus - God of wine, mysteries, and the theatre

7. Demeter - Goddess of agriculture and fertility

8. Hephaestus - God of smiths and metal-workers

9. Hermes - God of merchants; messenger of Zeus

10. Hera - Goddess of marriage; consort of Zeus

11. Poseidon - God of the sea and earthquakes

12. Zeus - God of the sky, gods, and thunder; ruler of Olympus

Note: Hades (God of the underworld) is not a part of the 12 olympians.
