Chapter 4: Bed buddies

3rd person POV

"They're all naturals!" Hanji said as all of class 1-A tested out the maneuver gear. They had all been able to figure it out on their first try, except for Mineta. He couldn't do it. His perverse ways couldn't help him... he cried. Anyway.

After they all had passes they were taught more about the titans but most importantly how to kill them.

"Ok," Hanji said trying to get everyone's attention, "good news we have beds for you, bad news your going to have to share a bed with one of your friends so pick your buddy!"

"I CALL TODOROKI," Momo called out. Everyone went silent. "I-I mean I would like to be paired up with Todoroki if I could." Everyone still stayed quiet. They had all known that she had a crush on Todoroki but they didn't know it was that extreme. The only person who didn't look startled was Todoroki. "I'm sorry Momo but you have to pick someone of the same sex for umm reasons."

"I'm very sorry for my reacting like that." Momo said looking like her puppy had just died. "Todoroki, do you want to pair up?" Midoryia said. He could basically feel the glares coming from Momo when he asked that question. "Sure," Todoroki said.

Midoryia couldn't help but feel joy when he said that. They'd be sleeping in the same bed. For the first time. As Izuku had time to think about it, the more he started to freak out. He started to mutter to himself. "SHUT THE FUCK UP SHITTY DEKU!" Bakugou yelled. Hearing that made him stop.

It was that time of day and Midoryia was still freaking out. He had to sleep in the same bed as THE Shoto Todoroki.

Deku pov

I'm going to die. I'm going to die. I'm going to die! He's going to hate me for the rest of his life if I do something stupid. What if I hog the bed! What if I cuddle up to him?!?!

Ok Izuku calm down. You have nothing to worry about. It's going to be fine. It's not like it can change their relationship forever! Oh my god! I'm going to die!! This is going to ruin our friendship forever. He's going to figure out that I have feelings for him and he's never going to talk to me again.

At this point I was hyperventilating. I thought he was going to hate me for the rest of my life. Don't judge me. Anyway. After the whole panic attack I had started to feel better. So after eating what little food they had to offer they went to bed.

Todoroki was against the wall while I was on the outside of the bed. It was weirdly comfortable. I wasn't freaking out and it was great. Being near Todoroki just calmed me down somehow. He's caring and lovely and kind and. . . I'm getting ahead of myself.

"Hey Midoryia"

I head out of the blue. It was Todoroki "Yes?"
"Do you know why Momo screamed out my name when we were picking our parters?"
"Well because she wanted to share a bed with you."
"I know but why me?" "Because she likes you" I said before I could think about what I was saying. Immediately I covered my mouth with my hand.

"Really? I always thought she liked Jiro. Well it's too bad for her. I like someone else." And with those words my heart dropped. He likes someone else. It could never be me. I'd be his last option. No, scratch that. I'm not even an option. "Midoryia are you ok?Did I say something wrong?" "No, I'm fine... goodnight Todoroki" "ok goodnight Izuku"

And now I never have a-WAIT "IZUKU"?!?
