"A-Alex" i whispered to myself,I repeated the same steps that Alex did in my flashback,he seemed to calm down and fall asleep on my shoulder,soon enough,dark came in"what happened with Alex" dark asked"nightmare...." I said quietly,while petting Alex's hair"do you want any breakfast" dark asks and i shake my head no"ok,i'll save you some for later" dark said as warped my plate in foil and continues with breakfast.

Moments later....

"Hey guys" Alex said excitedly running down the stairs,I didn't know what happiness felt like anymore,anger,sadness,confusion,all I felt was hopelessness,I never felt hopeful anymore,I couldn't even sleep because the memory are coming back to me about what Felix did to me,I was brought out of my train of thought by a hand waving in my face"annnnii" Alex said extending my name"yeah" I responded blankly"you okay buddy" Alex asked and I nodded"we should go watch a movie then have fun" Alex said happily,I got up and left with a pillow,they were both stuck in there conversation that they didn't even notice me going upstairs,once I got upstairs I closed the bedroom door,I threw the pillow to the side as I stood there,my eyes then went red as i scanned the room,my eyes can also be used for x-ray vision,I then saw something under the bed,my tail perked up a little at the sight,I refused to get down on my knees so I used my red eyes to bring it to me,it landed in my hand.

My head cocked to the side a bit at the box (NO IT'S NOT A WEDDING RING! I KNOW WHAT YOU PEOPLE ARE THINKING😛😝)I opened the box to see it was a little ballerina spinning,and music playing,I thought it was kinda adorable,but I put it back anyway,my eyes turned back to normal and I slowly walked over to the bed and sat down,I then made a red ball out of magic,it was really warm and soft,I kinda remember....grandma....she....taught me how.....calm...i clenched my teeth in my mouth but my warm red ball calmed me down instantly,the door then opened"oh...forgot I....left it unlocked" I said to myself quietly as I laid there with the ball"ani" I heard Alex say,i didn't answer,I heard footsteps towards me,and the bed sink a bit,I looked towards him"you okay buddy,I see you have your calming ball with you" Alex said touching it but it shocked him,he put half of his finger and nail in his mouth"calming....ball" I questioned as I sat up criss cross,holding it In my arms"yeah,it never liked me, it only likes you and calmed you down,I have one to but I'm afraid there gonna fight"Alex said rubbing the back of his neck nervously,I laid back down like a ragdol on the edge of the bed"are you okay ani" Alex asked,I nodded"tired..." I said in a voice that was barely audible"Sorry I couldn't hear you" he said nervously oh...forgot...hearing aids... I thought to myself"tired...." I said a little over my soft tone.

"oh wanna take a nap we can do fun stuff later with you" alex said with a warm smile on his face"okay...." that was the last thing i said as i fell into a land of nightmares...

inside dream...

i was paralized,i saw myself getting beaten,rapped and called nasty names while alex tried to fight felix off,the people on the street were just recording om their phones,not caring if i was hurt or not,dark just stood there and laughed in my face cursing at me telling me how useless i was and how i deserved to die,i screamed and begged for them to stop as felix kept kicking me on the head with his boot,I screamed and cried,as he kept kicking me and beating me over and over again"Dark!" I finally saw dark and ran up to him,but he kicked me in the stomach"your just a demon" dark said with no expression.

I then woke up....

I was breathing rapidly,tears spilling rapidly down my cheeks"a-anti" a voice that sounded like dark said"anti are you okay" dark said,I just kept crying,its the first time in a long time,I actually felt emotions"shh,its okay,shh"dark said hugging me and rubbing my back in a calming motion.

After I stopped crying,i was just quiet"are you okay now" dark said softly,I nodded lying,letting a whimper escape my lips"your not fine,what happened" dark said in a soft tone"i-i had a nightmare" I said,more tears streaming down my face"what was it about"dark questioned"i-I I dont wanna talk about it,i-i don't wanna remember it,please dont make me remember it please!" I said putting my hands on my head and breathing rapidly,I was having a asthma attack,dark ran and got my inhaler,he blew two puffs into my mouth,and my breathing returned to normal and I fell asleep,the last thing I heard dark say was"shh baby,just go to sleep,its gonna be okay"
