Chapter Five

The Saturday and Sunday after the party was pretty chill. Paige stayed at Amber's house which is basically her second home. They talked about the party and the boys. Paige was relieved that she could enjoy her night without  Amari ruining it. She actually smiled and felt wanted by someone.

On the other hand, Aaron and Chris were planning on talking to the girls. Chris felt a connection with Paige that he never felt with any other person. Its like he could really be himself and open up to her and she would accept him. He was still skeptical so he was gonna take things slow. Both boys needed to prepare for school tomorrow. They were gonna dress cute but simple for the girls.

                                                                         The Next Day

Chris had on a pair of black True Religion jeans, a white polo shirt, and some all white low top forces. He did his morning routine including his hair. To complete his outfit he put on a gold chain and a watch. Aaron had on a pair of white True Religion jeans, a black polo shirt, and a pair of black and white low top vans. He did his morning routine and took his dreads out the braids they were in from being retwisted. He topped off his outfit with a watch. Aaron usually drives to school but today he decided to ride with Chris. He then drove to Chris's house.

Paige was at Amber's house since she didn't feel like going home. They had to wake up an hour early because they didn't have anything planned for their school attire. At the sound of their alarm they got up to get ready for school. They both started with a shower and morning hygiene. Since Amber and Paige were the same size they shared clothes all the time. It was spring so the weather was nice. The girls decided to show some legs today since it wasn't something they did often.

Amber put on some black leggings shorts, a white shirt with "sauce" in black, and black and white converse. She put her hair in a top knot bun and slayed her edges. For accessories she added gold hoop earrings, a gold necklace, a gold anklet, and her favorite charm bracelet. Paige had in the same things as Amber except she had on red instead of black. Her hair was in two ponytails with slayed edges. For accessories she added gold hoop earrings, a gold anklet, and her millions of wristbands. After an hour the girls were finally ready to go. They hopped in Amber's car and went to Chick-Fil-A for breakfast.

"Man, I hope I see Aaron." Amber said while driving.

"You might. Who knows?" Paige said while scrolling through Instagram.

"Don't you wanna see Chris?" Amber asked Paige.

"It would be nice but I'm not gone stress about it." Paige said in a nonchalant tone.

Finally the girls arrived at school. They went to their lockers and got the stuff they needed for class. Paige and Amber didn't have a class together until the end of the day. They had the same lunch though. The girls said their goodbyes and went their separate ways to begin their days.

Chris and Aaron were sitting in the gym waiting for the bell.

"You think we'll see them today?" Aaron asked Chris.

"We may." Chris responded.

With that being said, the bell rang and the boys went to their lockers. They got their stuff and did their handshake. Chris and Aaron have their lunch period together. The tardy bell rung so the boys jogged to class to avoid being late.
