It's one o'clock in the morning and the park is quiet..to quiet. The air is crisp and cold. Tall trees lined the area, casting shadows, blocking the light from the street lights threwing a muddy orange glow over the surroundings.
In the middle of park stands a tall black figure, breathing heavily. Looking down at his feet, intensively. A sinister smile creeps on his face as he wiped the sweat from his forehead. Dark blood dripping from corner his mouth down to the ground that is already damaged. He stares down the dead bodies of the 2 civillians he just murdered few minutes ago. The stench of the dead bodies and blood filled the air quickly which made him let out a sickly sweet laugh, like a kid getting a candy.
The adrenaline runs through his veins like a fire that cannot be extinguished and wants to burn more. The smell of blood and iron made him laughing again. He plugs out his blade out from his victims shin with a satisfying crunch. The blood soon started to flow from the open wound, creating large puddle beneath the corpse.
His smile widens, licking the blood from his lips. It tasted sweet. He can still hear the terrifying screams and the pathetic pleads for their life. Its like a poem, he hears every time he hunts them. He titters lightly, delight shinning in those dark eyes.
This was one of his best kills in the whole year, not that he didn't enjoy killing his previous victims in the past. But this one was more exciting, more thrilling. He reached into his pocket and takes out a napkin and vipe the blood clean from his blade. The weak summer wind brushes his neck like carreses. Sending chills down his spine. It was surprisingly cold for an August. The hottest month of the year.
He stuffs the dirty napkin into his pocket with blade and looks around.
He was alone.
Now its time for the final touch. He reach into his pocket again and pulls out two roses painted in black and places each one on his victims chest. He eyes the bodies again and slowly disappears in the shadows, waiting for his next kill.
3 hours later...Miss Dickson; a small petite lady strolls through the dark park with her poodle Angel , which accompanies her, on her early-morning stroll. She hums quietly enjoying the peace and quiet. Not a single car or person in sight for the past 3 hours.
The leafs rustle through the cold wind, some of them falling on smoothed gravel path. Summer is slowly ending and the weather got surprisingly colder even it supposed to be sunny today.
She wraps her parka around chest preventing herself from the bitting cold. She passes the kids playground and makes her way towards small spot where usually students come hang out and study. It's also a really popular place for dog walkers.
But as she was about make her way there, her step slow as she notice something laying on the ground in the distance. She arches her eyebrow, slowly approaching it. Her curiosity growing. Her dog suddenly stops an abrupt holt, sniffles the air for a moment then star to growl.
"Whats wrong Angel ?" She side-eyes Angel , noticing the fierce look in her eyes as Angel continue growling grithing her teeth. Ms. Dickson enters her line of vision. It reaches the thing that Ms. Dickson was trying to reach. Taking a deep breath she steps closer. To her horror its no thing its blood.
And it trails towards bodies of two men. One in his early twenies and the other in his fifthes.
Their bodies twisted. Blood gushing like a river from open gashes on their stomach. Legs and arms twisted in the opposite way. And most of all - the fear in their faces.Ms. Dickson screams.
