Today is the day!
I woke up with a mixture of excitement, nervousness, and sickness. Every time I thought about the entrance exams, I would get dizzy. It's been like 3 hours since I have woken up, and it still feels like the first time thinking about the exams.
They start in about 2 hours, so I need to get ready.
All I have to do is think about failing.
I thought to myself.
"If I think about failing, it will boost my chance of getting in." I make a determined fist and fake a determined smile.
"Who am I kidding? I would never get into the hero course."
My fist loosened until it was just a sad palm on my thigh. I let out a sigh and flop backwards on my bed.
*knock knock knock*
"Come in!" I answer, trying to sound excited about today.
"(Y/N). That tone isn't gonna fool me, get up and look alive!" Mom entered my room and tried to lift me.
I grumbled and made mom struggle to lift me. But she won.

(I don't want to write dialogue rn, so imma sum up what they are saying)
So mom was talking about how i am an amazing person, and will make a great hero. And even if I don't make it into to hero course, I'll still have a chance to become a hero.
And pretty much the whole time I was like
"Nah, I don't think so"
But in the end of it all, I wad like
"Yeah, you're right"
But still didn't think she was anyways.
(Back to what's happening)

Mom gave me a soft smile and pat me on the leg. And then left.
I started to change into daytime clothes and grabbed what I would need for the day.
As I was done gathering what I wanted, I left my room and when to the front door.
It would take me about an hour to get to the exams, so that would give me about 45 min to settle in.
I need to leave now!
I zoomed out the door and was ready to leave, but forgot that mom has to drive me. So I ran right back around and grabbed mom.
We got in the car and set off to the exams.
