I havent really been paying attention to Jovan lately. I like to tell myself its because of my midterms coming up but I know thats a lie. I know he cheated on me and because he called me another girls name I know he got feelings for her. My first time having sex and I got called another female name. I could have saved that moment for a real man who actually deserves that part of me.
My thoughts were interrupted by a phone call from a random number.

Great first the bullshit with Jovan and now I got bitches calling my phone private threatening me.
I proceeded to get dressed for the day. I was meeting up with Arenae and Raiven at the park. I put on a crop top, some tights, and some fuzzy slides. I hopped in my car and went to pick up Raiven.
Rai- Hello?
"Im outside where you at?"

I swear he takes longer than me to get dressed. "Hey" I said as he got in my car. "Wassup what you been up to?"
"Nothing."

I swear I can never put anything past him.

"I see. Look I know you fucked up bout it. But dont let that shit get to you. You beautiful and you can have any nigga you want"
"Thats the thing. I dont want ANY nigga. I want him but he's not good for me. He's a liar and a cheater."
We got out the car and walked towards Arenae who was sitting at a bench in the park.
"Look we gone talk about this later alright."
I nodded my head as we got closer and sat down. "Heyyyy yall" Nae yelled with a big smile.
"Heyy" we replied.
"Where is Lisa?" I asked.
"She's at daycare but Okay so look my birthday is coming up and I want yall to host my party. Its gonna be music and a pool and weed and some fineeeeee ass niggas there"
Raiven and I just looked at eachother not knowing how to politely say no. I dont wanna be seen by Jovan. Ive been ignoring all his calls and texts.
"Uh I dont know girl. Im not really a party person." I exclaimed.
"Come on pleaseeeeee Marie. My brother will be there"
"Yea thats not very encouraging" Rai scoffed.
"There's gonna be food"
"We're in" He said.
Ugh Im so pissed at Rai I could strangle him right now.
After another 30 minutes to an hour of chilling at the park, Arenae said she had some party planning to do. The first 5 minutes of the ride home was quiet until Raiven spoke.
"Bro Bestfriend I apologize. For getting you stuck with the party hosting and all."
"Its whatever.. Ill probably find a new boyfriend there, who knows."
"So you not mad at me?" He asked.
"Oh no Im pissed. But ima make the best of it"

After Marie dropped off Raiven she went home and did her hygiene. First she showered for an hour. Washed her hair and dried it. Then she brushed her teeth. Washed her face and put on clothes. It was more like lingerie...PINK lingerie. She wasn't getting cute for anyone. She just felt good. She grabbed some grapes and began watching "Dexter" on Netflix. She was on season 4 episode 8 with 3 more seasons to go. 30 minutes into the show someone knocked on her door. "Ughhh" she groaned. She thought to herself "who the fuck is knocking on my damn door"
When she answered it Jovan pushed passed her searching the house. Trying to see who she has there. "Boy what the fuck get yo ass out and try that shit again showing up uninvited like a damn roach"
"Man yo phone broke or something"
She took a deep breath, closed her door and began walking back to the couch. "Hellooo. Im talking to you. Why haven't you been answering the phone?"
"I just dont have anything to say to you"
"Im yo nigga. You can tell me anything bro"
"Yea mines and everyone else's apparently"
"Whats that supposed to mean?"
He knew exactly what she meant. He just didnt know if she ACTUALLY KNEW he cheated or if she just feel like that. Either way he had changed his mind about telling her the truth. And was gonna deny any accusations about him cheating.
"Nothing Jovan. Leave"
"Leave? Im not going nowhere until you speak yo fucking mind"

Jovan just stood there. He knew he fucked up but for some reason he couldn't bring himself to tell the truth.
"Phat I-I didn't c-cheat on you" He said not looking her in her eyes.
"You know the saddest part is that you cant even be man enough to look me in my eyes and tell me the truth. I think I deserve that much. Instead you rather think that Im some dumb ass female like these hoes you be dealing with......Just get out" She said opening the front door for him. He tried to kiss her cheek but she moved away. As soon as she closed the door she dropped to the floor and let out all her tears. She never felt so used and humiliated in her entire life. So for an hour she just sat and cried. She made sure she let it all out cause she promised herself that when she's done...She'll never make the same mistake again.
