You were sat cross-legged on the comfy sofa talking to Ethan who was sat across from you, when you felt the atmosphere in the room begin to shift.
All of a sudden you were acutely aware of how the green hues in Ethan's eyes stood out whenever the light caught them at particular angles; how he kept stealing glances down at your lips when you were talking. At how he was now much closer to you on the sofa than when you had first sat down; how your legs lightly brushed against his, a ghost of a touch which you wish lasted longer. At how your face was now inches from his; how he slightly tilted his head, and began to bring his perfect lips down towards yours.
*DING DONG*
Ethan quickly snapped his head towards the door, breaking the intimate trance that had been placed like a thick blanket over the room. He then looked back at you with longing and what most would have called lust in his eyes, before breaking his wanting gaze at you and going to answer the door.
What the fuck had just happened? You asked yourself in awe, not exactly sure how the rest of the night was going to play out now. How was the rest of the night gonna play out now? You'd never felt anything like that before:the rushing mix of emotions and thoughts clouded your head, however you were quickly drawn out of your chaos of thoughts and scenarios by one smell, and one smell only... Dominos Pizza. You looked up to see Ethan standing in front of you, the open box of pizza being displayed like an award in a glass cabinet.
"Well are you gonna take a slice or what?" Ethan asked with that grin on his face again.
Your thoughts were all over the place, but one thing you could definitely do was focus on the pizza in front of you.
"If you don't get any slices now you won't get any at all!" You replied jokingly, making that cheeky grin on Ethan's face even bigger.
"Let's eat then!" He declared, plonking himself back down on the Sofa next to you and grabbing a slice.
"Oi! Wait for me" You protested grabbing a tasty looking piece from the box and taking a large bite out of it.
