Joey had created characters he loved so much, they had someone new in the factory at the time. His name was Jay and his job was to keep tabs on the ink supply somewhere in the factory...but one day when he didn't come in...that one day became months of him not showing up, his remains were found in one of the containments of ink that directly hook up to the ink machine. Joey chose to ignore it and assumed Jay died from being a clumsy worker; then Joey used the ink machine to create something.

This day is Bendy's first breath of life, his facial shape and features and body shape and frame is identical to Jay's...but Joey didn't pay that no mind upon Bendy's creation. The music director of that studio, Sammy Lawrence is sitting at his desk down in the music department. He growled and held his head, trying to calm down and relax since he felt quite stressed.

He was considering a solution...cigarettes? No they had just recently forbidden them due to complaints...alcohol? He swore to himself to try getting off of it. What else could he distract himself-? He just remained lost in thought, his concentration being completely gone.

Joey, proud of himself and his creation decided to share it with Sammy, Joey put Bendy in his office and went to get Sammy. Upon entering the music department he went over to Sammy and put a hand on his shoulder. "Sammy, you need to see this." Joey then began exiting the music department.

Sammy flinched upon the feeling of his boss' hand on his shoulder without even having heard him coming. "Ever heard of knocking?" he muttered to himself and decided to follow Joey. "Alright. what is it?"

Joey pulled Sammy into his office and there stood Bendy, Bendy is being curious and picked up a few books and some pencils then saw his creator and someone new to him yet so familiar some how. "...Joey...who is this?" Joey smiled at Bendy. "Bendy, this is Sammy Lawrence."

Sammy shrieked and jumped back when he took notice of that cartoon character really being there now in 3rd dimension. "But how did you- and- why? This is insane-! Yet- somewhat...fascinating...?" Sammy is not sure how to feel.

Joey explained how it worked and planned on making more like Bendy, he went back to work happily while Bendy did his own thing and sat down with a book to read. "Why would you bring cartoons to life? That shit is mad expensive and we're already deep in debt- Joey we need to stop this-"

Joey turns to Sammy. "No! it's amazing! can't you see it? no more animating! it will be big!" Joey seems to have gone crazy in his own fantasy. "It won't work out long term- it can't...look I'm sorry but I can't support this." He backed away a little.

Joey seemed shocked and surprised. "...what...? but this could be revolutionary!" Joey seemed to be getting upset.

"I don't really think so. Now excuse me, I need to get back to work." The music director turned around to leave. Joey began yelling. "You'll see! it will be the greatest thing to ever happen!" After months of Joey obsessing over his creations...he was driven mad, making Alice Angel and Boris and keeping them a secret drove him insane and he was sent away from the factory and someone else put in charge.

Over this time, Sammy kept getting more and more stressed, even to the point of seeing that damned demon's grin everywhere! Even when it wasn't there or when he was dreaming. All of this just wouldn't let him go and he wished he knew why.

Bendy grew bored and decided to venture away from his creator's office even though Boris and Alice told him not to, he did it anyways and went to seek out Sammy since Bendy has questions on where Joey is.

Sammy heard steps approaching and was pretending to work concentrated, although the sweat on his forehead proved otherwise. He just didn't want to be bothered. Bendy entered the music room and looked around at everything amazed by it all, he then saw Sammy and walked over. "Sammy...where is Joey?"

He flinched and looked over to see that it was Bendy...but is he real? Was he a hallucination? It didn't matter anymore. "I- don't know- and I don't care..." Bendy squinted at Sammy. "...You look ill, Joey told me about the human body and how it works, to me he was my teacher...and my...father...as he would tell us so." Bendy went over to the piano.

"Me? ill? no no I'm perfectly fine, I have to be. But well- I'm glad you could have such a good bond with Joey. But he's changed..." Bendy tilts his head. "...Changed...how so? is...HE ill?" Bendy seemed worried and concerned for his creator and didn't want him to be ill.

"Possibly- but his body isn't what's ill, it's his mind...and I'm scared the same is happening to me- but I can't give up. The show must go on." Bendy looked down for a moment. "...What does that mean?...to have an ill mind?" Bendy didn't understand and went over to Sammy and stood by his desk.

"That- that is hard to explain...but well- it's mostly if you can't think right and lose control over yourself and your actions..." He calmly explained to the demon. Bendy nods a bit. "...oh...maybe rest will fix it?" Bendy at the time is as innocent as a small child, Boris being the second most innocent and Alice being an adult figure to both Boris and Bendy. "I have no time to rest and even if, it won't help me. I don't know if anything will!" He had to fight back tears, not wanting to cry in front of anyone.

"..."Bendy hugs Sammy trying to make him feel better. "This always makes Boris feel better..." Bendy says in a soft tone. This just made Sammy give in and he started to cry while he hugged the creature back tightly. "I-I'm so sorry f...for being such a w-wimp-" He sobbed, not wanting to cry but just having to, to release all the bottled up emotions.

Bendy stayed quiet during this and comforted Sammy, he may not have such a strong bond with Sammy but he didn't want to see him sad. "I'm sorry-" He repeated himself and tried to calm down again. He didn't want anyone besides Bendy to know that he sometimes just cried.

Over time Bendy no longer wanted to stay hidden away and took pride in wondering about the factory when Sammy was present at work but when he wasn't Bendy stayed hidden with Boris and Alice.

Sammy wiped the tears off of his cheeks and sighed shakily, hoping his swollen eyes would go back soon enough. Bendy used his time to walk around the factory looking at pictures hanging on the walls and looking at the toys sitting on shelves, he enjoyed being able to have freedom to do as he wished.

Eventually, Sammy decided to treat himself with a very short break, just to get some fresh coffee to stay awake. He headed towards the breakroom, where the coffeemaker was located.

Bendy saw Sammy enter the breakroom and decided to check in on him. "Hello Sammy." He says with a smile as he leans against the door frame. "Bendy-? You again? Uhm- hello! Can I get you a coffee as well?" He offered with an awkward smile.

"No, I don't need to eat or drink like you." He walked over to Sammy and watched him make coffee. "Well maybe you would have just wanted one for the taste, but whatever." He shrugged.

"...." Bendy still doesn't understand. "Can I try?" Sammy nods. "Of course you can." He offered him a cup of cold coffee. Bendy took the cup and smelled it first before tasting it, he has a look of confusion from the taste. "...it's an odd taste..."

"Yeah there's better tasting stuff...like chocolate for example. I'll try to bring you some when I can." Bendy nodded as he looked for a place to set the cup of coffee. "Alright..." Bendy set the cup down. "So what is there to do around here other than work?"

"Nothing too interesting. There's an amusement park in the lower levels but it's still in development." Bendy seemed interested for a moment. "Oh, that sounds interesting." Bendy wasn't sure how to make conversation.

"It'll be a huge attraction when it's done. But I won't have time to visit it." Bendy seemed confused. "...Why not?" Bendy looks at Sammy with a curious expression. "You know, work as always." Sammy gave a small shrug. "...don't you do anything besides work?"

"I sleep some hours when I happen to pass out during work- I hardly ever leave this place anymore..." Sammy looked away. "...Oh..." Bendy isn't sure what to say or do at this point. "But hey, that's fine. I guess it's just how my life was destined to be." He gave a crooked smile.
