The next day i get up and grab a bag to take with me to my cousin's house. I put everything i'll need for the next 5 days in it and get ready to leave. I tell Chase i'm leaving before getting into my car. It's only a 30 minutes drive so it doesn't take long before i arrive. At 8:55 i arrive, which is still 5 minutes before i told them i'd come. I ring the doorbel and Jess opens the door. "Hey Sarah babyyy" she happily says, and pulls me into a hug. "Hey Jess! Are you guys ready for your honeymoon??" i say back, excited in their place lmao. "Totally! Come in" she answers, and motions for me to come in, which i do. I place my bag in the hallway and follow her into their living room. Jess' husband, Caleb, comes walking down the stairs. "Sup Sarah!" he says to me, and i tell him hi as well. We chat for awhile and they leave about 15 minutes after.
At 10 am i go upstairs to wake up baby Anna. When i walk into the room she looks up at me with wide eyes and happily smiles. She's literally the happiest baby alive let me tell you that. I get her ready for the day and take her downstairs with me to give her breakfast. When her milk is warming up i get a message from ... Jaden? I take my phone and open our chat.

Damn did he just really ask me to hang out? I wonder if Chase knows he asked me. It sucks that i can't, i would really like to go skate with him. But well, i'm with this amazing chilD right now. I give Anna her breakfast and put her on the ground where her toys are. I get on the couch next to her so i can watch her and watch tv at the same time. I can't stop thinking about hanging out with Jaden, i really don't know why it bothers me so much. I finally get over it and go on watching tv. At noon i postmate some lunch for myself and make her her fruit to eat. When i get back on the couch, i heavenly sigh and grab my phone. Is this a good idea? I don't know, we'll see i guess. I open Jaden and i's chat again and start typing. Here goes nothing...

Alright i did it, he's really coming over mhm. I kinda feel bad for Chase. I don't want to hang out with Jaden if that's not okay with him. We're pretty close and i'd still choose my brother over him any day. I facetime him and decide to just ask. "Yo wassup" he immediately says, his face popping up on the screen along with mine. "Nothing much i just" i start explaining that he asked me to hang out and that i kinda invited him over here. I just don't want to steal his friend ya know. "Ahh wait but i ship you guys!!" Chase happily says, and i widen my eyes. "That was not the answer i was expecting" i simply say, and he laughs. "Really though. Anyways, i don't mind. It's cute, you 2 with a baby" he tells me, and laughs about the thought. I laugh along and we talk for a few more minutes before ending the call. I get up from the couch and walk over to look at Anna. She looks up at me and puts her arms out. I pick her up and sit on the couch with her on my lap. (her cousin etc don't mind people are over at their house)
About 15 minutes later the doorbell rings. I get up with Anna on my arm and go to open the door. Jaden is standing in front of me and pouts at Anna. "Omg she's so cuteee" he immediately says, and smiles at her. She happily smiles back and puts her arms up. "She wants you to hold her" i chuckle, and he does this thing with his mouth open (IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT I MEAN GET YOURSELF OUTTA HERE OMG) Then he puts out his arms and i give her to him. His smile is as wide as it possibly can get and i invite him in. We both sit down on the couch and Anna crawls over both of us. "So you're staying here for awhile?" Jaden asks me, and i nod and explain the situation. "That's pretty cool, she's such a precious baby" he tells me, and i heavenly nod.
"She actually needs to get a bath, you wanna help?" i tell Jaden, and he immediately nods. We get her to the bathroom and fill the bath for her and get her in. While Jaden plays with her and her bath toys i get all the right soaps and everything. We start washing her together and the 3 of us have actual fun with it. When she's fully washed and done playing with the bath toys we get her out and dry her off, followed by me putting her clothes on. I pick her up and place her on my arm while walking to the mirror. "Look Anna that's us" i say, and point to our reflection. She giggles and tries to touch us in the mirror. Jaden comes up behind us and laughs. "2 wholesome babies" he smiles, and i turn my head to him and smile back. "Hold on let me grab my phone" i say, while handing her to Jaden. I go get my phone downstairs and he hands me back Anna. We take a picture in the mirror and after that we get back downstairs.
We talk for what felt like hours on the couch with Anna next to us and she eventually fell asleep. How easy can it be, she knows when it's nap time lmao. After being here for about 5 hours, Jaden decides to go home. "Thanks for inviting me over, i had a really great time" he tells me when we stand at the front door. "Me too" i say, and we smile at each other. "Alright i'll see you" he then says, and pulls me in for a quick hug. "See ya" i say back, and i close the door after he gets in his car. I let myself fall down on the couch next to a sleeping Anna and feel like it's nap time for myself too.
I wake up again by Anna poking my cheeks. I get up and smile at her, pulling her onto my lap. When i look at my phone is see that it just passed 6 pm. I need to make some food now. I pick her up and take her to the kitchen with me, putting her in her baby chair. I start making food for myself first because that takes longer and when i'm almost ready i make hers too. I put her chair at the kitchen island and sit down in front of her. We both eat dinner and after that i keep her in the chair and do the dishes. For the rest of the evening i just watch tv with her until it's bedtime. I get her ready for bed and put her in there, along with the baby monitor which i take downstairs with me again until i go to sleep too.
