" the beginning of a new chapter "Soft feathery strokes of the waking sun rays shone through the tiny crack and slips of the platinum white blinds, enlightening the once gloomy room. The weather had became warmer as mid-summer approaches, birds whistled more often in their hay nests and the wildflowers seemed to bloom brighter and blossomed their perfectly carved petals underneath the bright sunshine.
Hiding beneath the silky smooth sheets of the fluffy beige bedcover, laid a beautiful fragile frame of a girl. Her tender milky skin was hugged by the satin material of the covers, giving her skin the outmost comfort as she rests. Her dark cocoa tresses that was tied into a simple braid the night before had become undone into a wide tangled mess, sprawling across the sheets like splattered ink on paper. Her delicate fingers gently rubbed her big doe eyes in exhaustion as she stirred from her deep slumber.
An adorable sleepy sigh escaped her pouty pink lips that was still glazed with last night's honeycomb lip balm and she blinked her fluttering eye lashes to adapt with the lighting change in her room. The holiday season had come to an end and the school doors were now reopened to welcome their prisoners back into hell.
One look at the sleek titanium clock beside her managed to jolt her tired body up the bed, instantly crumbling down the soft covers to reveal the cute pink pj's she has worn to sleep. Her mind was still in a jumbled state as she regains conscious and she looked around her spacious bedroom with her eyes wide open.
In just a matter of seconds, the girl had dashed herself into her bathroom and took one of the quickest showers she has ever taken as she counts the time in her head till the bell rings. She took one last look at herself before she heads out, her wild hair was now detangled but was still frizzy, her brand new school outfit that in her opinion was too extravagant and her makeup which only consist of mascara, powder and a strawberry lip balm. Chugging down her glass of milk, she bid goodbye to both her grandparents and head off to her new campus where she would start her high school year.
The new school she was going to attend was just located around the block so it only took her around 10 minutes to reach there. The girl held her jet black kanken straps as tight as she could when she reached at the front of the huge electric blue gates of the building. She led out a breath and fixed the wispy strands of her hair as well as straightening her above-the-knee length peach skirt.
The girl took careful steps and tried her best to keep a straight face. She had gone through a lot for the past few years and she didn't need anyone knowing how much she had suffered. The eyes were the windows to the soul, so she kept them as plain and bland as she could, just focusing on the new faces she encounters as she continues to stride through. The hallways that were packed full of students was not making it easy for her, especially when they craned their necks to have a look at the fresh new face of the school. She wasn't the only new student but she felt like it as they kept their gazed locked on her like a target. The small voice in her head ringed inside her mind, reminding her not to show any signs of emotions.
