A Cliche Start.

Today began like another other story you were forced to read in the fifth grade.  I woke up.

The sky was dark gray with a light mist . Pretty fitting considering it was the first day at school after fall break.  I was dreading going back to school. I don't know what it was .. Maybe the broken lockers leading my bag to be stolen 7 times in a month.

Never the less I roll out of my comfy bed onto the granite floor only to be woken up to how freaking cold it was.

"GAH!" I scream , hopping onto my rug and scrambling to get into some warm clothes. I choose jeans and a t-shirt; a typical choice to wear on any given day for me, completed with an evergreen flannel.

"Good Morning Lynn!" I hear my mother bicker from the other room. "I'm busy helping your little brother with his tie for his presentation, Do you think you can walk to school today?"

"Not a problem!" I lie, rolling my eyes, slipping my shoes on and grabbing my bag and heading out the door.

School:

I approach the school. Typical.

Heather conversing with friends about her new motorcycle . Austin reading books. Tyler on his laptop coding in a language I will never understand.

The bell rings. I head to Science.

"okay class today we will be talking about decomposition." The teacher cheers way to loud for being 9:00 am .

The class groans. I am no exception, I was dreading this via conversations I have had in the past with seniors knowing we would have to watch a rabbit decomposing video . Death is not my cup of tea.

"Mrs.Jane?" a quiet voice from the back of the class calls out.

The class peered back to see who it was. It was Hayden . A quiet freshman who was way ahead academically but not so much socially.  Also an exchange student from London.

"When we die, where do we go?"
