taehyun's life had changed ever since choi beomgyu had noticed him on instagram. but the junior didn't know if it had changed for the better, though.

of course, lots of people wanted to befriend him. mostly beomgyu fangirls. taehyun didn't know how to react to the sudden popularity. he was never a "cool kid" before, so this was all new to him. most people enjoy popularity and attention, but taehyun hates it. it hurts him to know that deep down people only wanna be his friend for the fame. it hurts him to know that they don't actually like him.

and of course, the seventeen year old was cloutted on instagram. social media wanted to know who he was and why beomgyu followed him. after all, kang taehyun is just your average teenage boy. why did choi beomgyu, a very successful singer, call him a "cutie"? it confused him because according to the media, taehyun was ugly.

taehyun received a lot of unnecessary hate. he didn't even know why. it scared him to know that he couldn't fix anything or change anything about this.

after the incident, taehyun's real friends (yeonjun, soobin, and kai) were very protective of him. they clung to taehyun's side like ducklings when they walked through the hallway. yeonjun would bark (yes he would dog bark) at the students who bombarded taehyun. he hated the attention, but tae did admit that yeonjun barking like a dog at the other students was quite entertaining.
