A Summer I'll Never Forget

Prolouge

Hi I'm Sarah. Sarah Moore. I am 16 years old. I live in Madison, Wisconsin. I live with my mom (Barb), my stepdad (Caleb), and my twin brother (Isaac). Well I should probably tell you my background. Ok here we go. When I was 10 my dad came home drunk one night. He grabbed Isaac from his bed and started hitting him hard. I stood in his door frozen. I didn't know what to do. So I ran and got Emily (she was 13) she ran into Isaac's room and tried to grab my dad, but she failed. He turned around and smirked. He walked closer to Emily. He reached into his back pocket and grabbed a gun. I was in the corner, curled into a ball. When all of a sudden BAM my dad shot Emily! Right in her chest. I ran to my moms room. Only to see her gone (no not dead). I grabbed Emily's phone and dialed 911. While I was on the phone I heard another BAM! My dad shot himself! After that I heard Isaac scream! No! I dropped the phone and ran upstairs. There laid Emily and my dad... Dead.

Well that was part of my past. Here's the other part.

I was in the 8th grade, so I was 13. I walked into school one day to see everyone laughing at me. I just ignored and walked to my locker. Once I got there I saw sticky notes on my locker. They read words like 'slut' 'bitch' 'whore' and many more. But he one that made me really mad was one that read 'so you thought you could f*ck my boyfriend?! Well you guessed wrong! Watch your back!' I dropped the note and ran out of the school and walked home. Even though it would take a while. I got home and ran up to my room and went into my bathroom. I grabbed my razors and started cutting. One cut. Two cuts. Three cuts. Four cuts. I had about 5 cuts on each wrists. I then heard my door open and in came Isaac. He saw my cuts and immediately called my mom. She rushed in and wrapped my arms.

So yeah that's my background. Oh I also moved from my house where my dad and Emily died. My mom didn't feel "comfortable" there. Oh well. So yeah.
