I walked over to the middle of the garden. "WASUP BETCH YOUR A SMOKEN BABE!!" He yelled. Then Jacob came up behind me. "Jax how dare you act like that in front of a girl!" He reprimanded him. Then he slapped him in the head.
''Hehe sorry about that Miss, I'm Jax," he grabbed my hand and kissed it. I blushed even though it happens a lot. "I'm Beth, I need to know about Victoria's army and where there next target is."
He looked shocked. "Um how did you find out about that?" I rolled my eyes, "That's not what I asked tell me or else." I looked him straight in eyes hoping for a sign of fear.
''Well you see I needed some money and this old traveler needed some information...so I made it up.'' I was furious. ''Really Jax! How stupid can you be shes one of the few survivors that haven't been killed! Then you go around freaking everyone out like that! What the hells wrong with you?" Jacob said looking even more pissed then I did.
"Wait she's a survivor?" He took both hand and held them together he closed his eyes and mumbled something. Then he freaked out and let go. "Dude it's not working it's not letting it through!" Jax said puzzled. "Mine was the same, I the slightest thing I saw was a boy in a corner."
They both stood quietly. "Beth would it be ok if you stay at our place, it for the best." I thought back to this morning. I quickly agreed.
"Tomorrow we need to check out the merchants and get some stuff for our trip," Jax said looking at a map. Jacob said yes and we started walking to there home.
''This is where you'll be sleeping Jax, Beth is having your bed." Jax looked angry, "Dude seriously? Your really giving this stranger my bed when she's gonna get us killed!''
I went to lay down in Jax's bed when Jacob knocked on the door. "Hey I'm sorry for Jax, he's normally not like this, I swear," he said all flustered. "It's fine, I'm used to ride men like him," I said smiling. "Anyways I'll be right in the next room so just holler if you need anything." I nodded and got under the covers. I don't get why Jax acts like that. He's just a major ass I guess.
