Hello there. My name is Seven. I picked up this little notebook from a table at the Hawkins library, someone left it there and I seized the opportunity. I think whoever had it before used it as a to-do list kind of thing, so that's why I had to rip so many pages out of here. There's still a lot of pages left though, thankfully. More room to write.
But, the main reason I've wanted a place to write is that my whole life I've never had anybody to tell things to. I've kept all my hardships and memories cramped up inside me for a long time, and I'm starting to feel the weight of them. I need somewhere to just spill everything out of me, get it out of my system. I know that doing that won't make me feel even close to normal or carefree, but I just want some of this weight off my chest.
I don't know in what order I'm gonna write these memories, or even if there'll be an order at all, but I think I'll start with the one that's been replaying itself in my dreams recently...
The one where I escaped the Hawkins Lab.
