Chapter 1

"Luffy! Let's go back home!" You say to your brother in your squeaky kiddish voice.

"No, I have to go prove to Shanks that I can become a pirate too!" Luffy replies.

"Fine, fine, you can stay here. I'm going back home." You say.

You and Luffy are twins at the age of 7, a red haired pirate has been staying at your hometown, Foosha Village. He and his crew befriended you and Luffy. Tomorrow is their last day staying. They've been here for one year. They're a big inspiration to Luffy. Ever since you could remember, Luffy's goal has been becoming The Pirate King. You've always wanted to become a part of his crew when he becomes a pirate but he says it's too dangerous.

"If only I could become a pirate. I'll show Luffy I'm strong like him!"

You make it to your house where you live with Luffy, you walk to your bed and fall asleep.

You wake up. Staring up at your white ceiling you think about how it's Shanks' last day here.

"Oh no! Hopefully he didn't leave yet!" You say to yourself.

You get your shirt on and run out of the house. You head to the bar, where Shanks and his crew usually is.

"Hey guys!" You say while you walk through the door.

"Hello, Y/N!" Shanks and Luffy say to you at the same time.

You drink some milk while Luffy starts arguing with Shanks.

"I can become strong like you!" Luffy exclaims.

"Are you sure?" Shanks asks.

"Yeah!" Luffy replies.

"Oh ok, do you want some juice?" Shanks asks Luffy.

"Mhm!" Luffy replies.

Shanks and his crew immediately start laughing.

"Pirates don't drink juice!" Shanks says while laughing.

"Hey! That was a dirty trick!" Luffy yells.

The laughing is immediately interrupted by the noise of an opening door and many loud footsteps.

"Make way for 'The Scourge of the Mountains'!" A big guy says.

"Uh oh..." You whisper to yourself.

"I'm Higuma the Bear, leader of the mountain bandits! Give us 10 barrels of grog and we'll be on our way!"

You and Luffy's caretaker, Makino, speaks up.

"W-well, we just ran out of the last of the liquor."

"What's that then?! Are these people drinking fruit juice?!" Higuma says.

"Here, take this, it's unopened." Shanks says.

He give the mountain bandit an unopened bottle of beer. Immediately, the mountain bandit snatched it from his hand and slams it on Shanks' head, making it spill and break all over Shanks and the floor. The mountain bandits leave after yelling at Shanks.

"Sorry Makino, I'll clean this all up for you." Shanks says.

His crew starts cracking up at the event that just happened.
