It's a quiet day in Paris, as Adrien is sitting behind his piano practicing once more.
'Kid, are you okay?' The tiny floating stomach Plagg asked.
As if awoken from his trance Adrien shot his head up to the tiny kwami.
'What?' He asked bewildered.
'I said are you okay? You look like your on drugs or something.' Plagg then said.
Adrien snorted at his kwami.
'Thanks man.' Adrien said drily.
'No that's not what i meant i-'
'It's okay Plagg, i'm fine.' Adrien quickly said., and quickly continued practicing his piano.
Contemplating wether to ask anymore questions the silence was quickly disrupted.
'Here we go again.' Plagg said, annoyance clearly visible in his tone.
'PLAG, CLAWS OUT.' Adrien yelled.
After the transformation, he looked out the window to see an akumatized victim. He quickly jumped out his window to search where the akuma might be hiding.
On his way he saw a red dot flying next him.
He quickly turned to see Ladybug running next to him.
'Well hello m'lady.' Chat said in a flirty tone.
Ladybug rolled her eyes and let out a small giggle.
'Fighting first and then you can tell me how much you missed me Kitty.' Ladybug said still giggling.
*one akuma fight later*
'MIRACULOUS LADYBUG.' Ladybug yelled, and threw her lucky charm in the air.
'M'lady?' Chat asked nervously.
'What is it Kitty?' Ladybug asked.
'C-can i tell you something?' He asked again.
'Only if you make it quick, i'm about to detransform!' She said hurridly.
'I-' Chat started.
'I love you Ladybug.' He said more confident this time.
Ladybug looked at him in shock, she always thought he wasn't serious with all the flirting, but he really loved her.
'I'm sorry Kitty, but, there's this other guy that i like, i probaply won't ever have a chance with him, but i really like him, and i can't betray my feelings for him, and i definetly wouldn't want to lie to you. You're my friend Chat Noir.' She said, and gave a sympathetic smile.
Chat Noir felt broken, again he was rejected. Without telling her anything he jumped away, leaving Ladybug behind with a shocked face.
'I'm sorry Kitty.' Ladybug said as she yoyo'd back home.
Marinette POV
Once detransformed she herd a knock on her window.
Her whole body stiffened as she could guess who was outside her window right now.
She quickly recomposed herself and confidently opened the window, and Chat slowly made his way in her room.
'Sorry to disturb you.' Chat said quietly.
'What's wrong?' Marinette asked even though she knew exactly what was wrong.
'I-... It doesn't matter.' Chat said quietly.
Without even thinking Marinette hugged Chat tight, leaving both her and Chat surprised by her sudden action, but before she could pull back, he hugged her back tightly.
'Thank you.' He said quietly.
She smiled a little, bit the smile faded quickly as she felt Chat's shoulders shake a little and suddenly he collapsed.
Marinette froze in her place looking at Chat's body lying peacefully on the ground, while one single tear rolled down his cheek.
'MARINETTE IS EVERYTHING OKAY?' She heard her mom yell from downstairs.
'YEAH MOM!' She yelled back.
'Just swell.' She said sarcastically.
She slowly descended down to Cat Noir and put a hand on his head, but quickly pulled back when she felt how hot is was.
"He has a fever?" She thought.
With all the power in her body she shoved Chat on her bed, when she heard a beep.
She quickly turned to his ring only to see that he was about to transform back.
'Chat, you need to wake up!' Marinette whisper yelled.
Slowly but surely, Chat opened his eyes.
'Mari?' He asked confused.
She grabbed his hand and showed him his ring.
His eyes grew wider and before he could say to look away, he detransformed right before Marinettes eyes.
All Marinette could do was stare at him.
Adrien was frozen in his spot, he was just laying down contemplating life when Marinette suddenly spoke up.
'A-Adrien?' She asked, still not believing Adrien was Chat Noir.
Sudden anger rose in the black cat.
'Sorry you had to see that.' Adrien said not looking at her, but feeling furious.
'PLAGG, CLAWS OUT.' He yelled after he gave the kwami some cheese.
And before Marinette could say anything the Kitty went out the window.
But then it hit Marinette. She kept rejecting Chat Noir for Adriend, while Adrien was Chat Noirs other half.
It all made sence now. They were never seen together, they both have blond hair, green eyes. The only thing that doesn't match are the characters. Chat is flirtatious, while Adrien is calm and composed.
She didn't realize she was crying untill her kwami, wiped a few tears away.
'What have i done?'
