Chapter 4-Jasper

-Jasper  P.o.V.-

                Sitting eating what the maids call "dinner", which mind you for me is breakfast, I see a mortal walk downstairs. That must be the mortal Dad brought back! I rush out of my seat and run over to the mortal. He looks shocked to see a small vampire, or maybe another vampire aside from my dad. But that look soon fades. 

               "Hello! I'm Jasper! Prince of the Vampires!" I add that last part with a silly tone, like the ones when people are mocking royalty. He giggles a bit at that.

             "Eh bien, c'est un plaisir de vous rencontrer Jasper. Je m'appelle Encre." Now I see why Dad wanted the staff to meet him first. They would need to translate what he was saying to me.

  As if he knew, Encre giggles at the fact I can't understand him. "I'm sorry Jasper. I didn't know you didn't understand french. It's just my natural language. I had said that it is a pleasure to meet you and that my name is Encre." I smile at his understanding. I didn't want to offend him by telling I couldn't understand. I guess not many people understand french, seeing as he saw that I didn't know what he said quite quickly.

"It's nice to meet you too, Encre! We don't have people here often. Especially not mortals. The only mortals that are ever here are the maids." I say excitedly. He nods in understanding.

At that, my dad walks downstairs. I look over to him and wave. "Hey, Dad!" I yell. He walks to me in confusion.

"Hello Jasper, and to you too Encre. Is there something you need Jasper?" He says that last part in a frustrated tone.

"I was just wondering, have you marked Encre yet? The Vampire Council is coming in a week." I added reasoning to my question because without it, I would be chased around the house. But really, I don't care what the Vampire Council says. Dad has been so lonely since mom died. He needs someone in his life. Both Dad and Encre slightly blush at the statement. Dad, I can understand but Encre? Does he know how vampires work?

Still, I am satisfied with how I got them to blush. Getting them together might not be as hard as I thought!
