Sufyan

I have to go to work on Monday and return Tuesday night to be able to follow Habeebah to the motor park on Wednesday.

Olabisi mi, you'll be going to Kano on Wednesday night, to commence your registration.
So let me have a list of the things you will need by Sunday night, so that u can get them in my way home in Tuesday.

Olabisi, know that this is a new phase of life, know that you're going into a free world where there's no parent to guide or caution you.
This phase is a great determinant for your future.
Handle it with care!

Uphold the teachings of Islam, which you've learnt from your childhood, be conscious of your duties to your Lord, seek help only from Him and you'll find Him as your protector.

Fear Allah, wherever you find yourself.
Be a modest muslimah, nobody forced you to adorn the hijab.
It's a cloth of honour, do not taint it.
Be a role model to other Muslim.
Be careful of the company you keep, your friends tells a lot about your personality.
Watch it!

Promise me my dear daughter that you will not engage in haram relationship, you know it's against the teachings of Islam.
Promise me you won't say 'Yes' to any proposal before informing me

I promise dad, she replied.

Thank you my daughter!

May Allah ease your affairs, make this step beneficial to you and your family.

Thank you once again, may Allah honour you more.

Goodnight darling!

Go and get your list ready.

Hmm, how i wish her mother is here. This would have been her happiest moment

Habeebah

I got the list ready and gave it to dad on Sunday night.

He promised to get get some of the items for me and he'll give me money to get the rest in Kano, to prevent the stress of travelling with too much luggage.

Daddy, i want to go to Yaba Market to get some personal things sir, i just opened my piggy bank.

OK dear, no problem, he replied. But be careful with money, he warned.

After preparing breakfast and completing my daily routine, i took my bath and got ready for my shopping.

As I was searching for my flat slippers, i heard a knock on the door, i hurriedly get the door.

Surprisingly, i found my one and only friend in the neighborhood Khairat Idris.

We hugged ourselves while exchanging the Salam, we're so happy to see each other again

We've all been busy with admission process and and she's also learning catering too.

How are you doing Khairat, you didn't even ask of me? I accused her.
