It's almost been a year since Ebola started, over a Million of lives were claimed, mostly in America, Nigeria, Russia and mainly Liberia. I've lost many relatives due to the virus, my grandparents, my best cousin and about 18 important other people in my life like my best friend, my biggest fear was to go to a country that was infected with Ebola, but my dad Alexander, he wanted to go help people in Liberia and try creating a cure.

7 months ago, we had a cure, that helped people and they were completely fine after being vaccinated. But then the vaccination ran out and ever since, people just died and we just stood there, watching. I remember being at my cousins funeral, I grew up with him but then he got Ebola after coming back from Texas, and that's how my family was remember. My father had planned to and try and create a vaccination with his science group, that wasn't the problem, the problem was that my dad actually wanted to GO to Liberia with me Mason aged 17 , my mom Stella, my brother c Max aged 15 and my sister Anna aged 12.

Next morning I get the shock of my life, I was woken up by my brother at 4:01 to come and see the horror that has happened, as I rushed downstairs thinking that there was a snake or something, i followed him to the living room then I see the worst thing I could possibly imagine... Ebola has spread throughout, Australia.

I quickly woke up my father and warned him about what was taking place, he stood there staring at the TV for about 5 minutes watching in horror, then finally he began to speak and said, " pack your bags ".

As we got closer and closer to the flight, and finished all the registrations, my nervousness got worse and worse. I remember seeing a plane crash when I was 11 and I don't want to be the person in that crash because I've always been afraid of planes and it just gets worse.

"Hello welcome abroad Liberian airlines, can I have your ticket?" I was asked by the lady " yes, here it is" I replied slowly , as I took my seat next to my father on the right seat with my brother on the window seat and my mom and sister behind me, they began preparing the plane for departure.

As the plan picked up speed going faster and faster my panic got worse and my father gave "the look" that If I panic I'm in trouble, I couldn't hold it in and when the plane took off, I lost it. As I screamed at the top of my voice I saw people stare at me as if I was being killed but actually my dad tried to shut me up and finally, when the plane was calm my dad looked at me in a very scary way. The staff on the plane announced that someone in seat 16 b had Ebola.

As people began panicking and screaming my dad pulled out a siridg to inject the person, I told it was too dangerous if he could hear me through all the people panicking, i begged him not to do that and eventually, he listened to me.

When we landed in Liberia, my panic was now severe, because everywhere I looked all I saw was Ebola Ebola and Ebola. I went through the registrations with the scanners they use to see if you've been infected or not, that person on the plane with Ebola was really close to me, so I was worried what the outcome would be, as I got closer and closer to the scanners my panic got worse, I saw people being told they have Ebola and being sent to isolation I just imagined me being in their shoes that just made me more nervous and panicky. When it was finally my turn after about 67 people, I was scanned, I could feel my heart racing like it was about to climb out of my mouth, and as the lady was about to tell me the results she had an extremely weird look like my results weren't even human, and as she opened her mouth I knew she was either going to say through about 4 layers of masks, " clear " or " you have Ebola please go to the isolation area ", and she said, " clear ".

My panic level wasn't still gone there was still my family I had to worry about, my dad was clear, my brother was clear my mom was clear and finally when it was my sisters turn the lady took a bit more time studying my sister, me and my family were afraid of her result, the lady walked up to my father and asked him, " is this your daughter?" My dad replied " yes she is " and the lady told my dad that, " your daughter has Ebola, and she needs to be sent to isolation she's in serious condition she has two more days to live ".

We stood there, for about 10 minutes in shock of her result, my mom in tears, my dad in rage. He finally spoke and said " let's go to the lab, I have to experiment on making a cure for your sister " we rushed and got a taxi, then went to the lab, on our way I saw, people crying in the towns, people coughing, and it was all just a mess.

My father began explaining to his group testing on things and monkeys and me my mom and my brother stood there hoping that at least 1 would work, One hour passed we had nothing, five hours first we had nothing, it's been a night and we still haven't had anything.

The next day I woke up with a rough cough and had a bit of sore throat, but it was nothing just a cold. I got showered and had breakfast with the family, as we ate I thought of my sister, how she was doing, I didn't want to lose my sister in this way, my father interrupted my day dream telling me that today I was going to go help people at the Ebola treatment to help treat people with Ebola I asked him " isn't it dangerous " he replied me "not if you're wearing layers of suits and masks".

As I got closer to my destination at the Ebola hospital, I got nervous and my brain started thinking of the worst things that could happen, but then the taxi stopped, I payed the guy and got out of the car. I went inside the building and asked if I could help as the registration, the lady gave me a room number and told me to feed this person, because they had Ebola. " Excuse me mam, is is room D37?" I asked one of the doctors " yes, are you here to feed him?" She asked me and I replied " yes, I was ordered to" she gave me so many suits to wear and masks and if I wanted to help, I had no choice but to wear the costumes, so I did.

I felt so sweaty because of wearing the suit, so I took the food then, went into the room. " hi sir how are you feeling" I asked the patient, " I'm fine" then I replied " great here's your food ", at that point he took the food then, he had a weird look on his face " can I tell you something?" He asked me, I slowly replied " okay" and I got closer to him, he whispered to me " I don't have Ebola, I think I'm fine" for a second I was confused, because why would he be at the hospital then? He then told me " take off your mask and uniforms, trust me" for a minute I froze and thought, if I should believe him or not, he looked innocent then finally, I made my mind and said, " okay ".

After being so sweaty I was could finally relax from all of the layers, I took them all off and then, one of the doctors rushed into the room and shouted " I forgot to tell you, he lies that he doesn't have Ebola he does ".

I panicked, I had already touched him and shook his hands, and he had coughed on me. I rushed to the scanner with the doctor after we locked him up, and scanned my self in a rush. The woman was in disbelief, and said,

You have Ebola.
