REECE'S POV
"When I'm walking with you! I watch the whole room change! Baby that's what you do. No my baby don't play! " Nattie and I sing, with a string of giggles here and there, as the traffic lights come into view and we stop at a red light.
At this point, I could feel the music rushing through my veins, and each beat, note and vibe, has a pull to my mind and muscles. So I can't help but -
"Break down!" We yell unison, and start dancing -quite terribly might I add- moving around in our seats whilst waving our hands to the beat.
"Senior year, babe!!" Nattie yells, before hitting the gas pedal, her White Jeep's engine roaring, as soon as the light turns green, leaving tire smoke and a lot of cusses from the owners of the cars behind us.
"We love you too, hoes!" She yells back at the honking cars, playfully flipping them the bee.
I simply chuckle, shaking my head at her crazy behaviour. I turn my head to look at her, propping my elbow on the cold metal door frame of the car. The cool morning breeze hitting my face, making my chocolate brown curls run wild and flap to the wind's direction.
"You're crazy." I mutter with a chuckle. Probably why I'm still friends with her.
She snaps her head to look at me for a moment, her stormy grey eyes glistening with a tinge of mischief, before looking back at the road, a menacing smile grazing her features.
I won't lie, I have one hell of a beautiful best friend. Her beautiful caramel skin complements her dark brown hair, that cascades down her shoulders. To think she used to hate how she looks, saying she wished to be more like, Samantha, the former Queen Bee of the school. I wonder what happened to her.
"But you love me anyway, "She throws a playful smirk my way, as she gets into the school parking lot, and makes her way to an empty lot.
A playful scoff leaves my lips, "Child, who lied to you?" I raise an eyebrow at her.
"Deny it all you want, Ree-Ree, but you know you are nothing without me." She smirks ,pulling on the handbreak . I roll my eyes, as a useless attempt to stall for some time as I try to think of a quick comeback.
"Mhmm, that's what I thought. Now get your head out the clouds and welcome to hell. Mu ha ha." She tries doing an evil laugh -to which she fails miserably at- so I just stare at her as if she had just said that the earth is flat.
"No...?" She asks, shrugging her shoulders in question.
I shake my head no, grab my things and get out. I peer over the car's roof looking at Nat as she exits and locks as well.
"You need to stop doing that. Never do it again. Ever!" I comment, still shaking my head, "Especially in front of Jase." I smirk, knowing that she's going to blush in 3...

There it is!
Jase is Nattie's something, kind of, sort of a boyfriend. He's what you'd call a popular, and even though I sort of hate the guy, I have to admit that he is hot so I don't blame the girls that lurk after him. Any who....They've been hanging out lately. Going on dates(if you'd even call raves dates) and stuff, and yesterday night, apparently they finally did it.
Now Nattie is far from being innocent, lord knows I could write a book about the not so innocent things she has gotten up to, but these news are significantly important since Jase is Nattie's first in 5 months after a rough break-up. Trust me, when it comes to Nat, 5 months is a lot.
