Ally or Foe

Chapter 1:

"Pound it!" The superhero duo Ladybug and Chat noir has once again saved Paris from the akuma attack. Thy split up and Chat noir found a small alley to detransform. He walked back to school, which was trying to recover from the akuma attack. He looked around class and was relieved to see all his friends safe. Accidentally, he made eye contact with Marinette  and they shared a smile before her attention returned back to Alya. As he took a seat next to Nino, Ms Bustier entered class and announced that class was cancelled for the rest of the day.

The class celebrated. As much as dangerous akumas were, they were always happy to have an early dismissal after. "Let's head down to the new cafe and hang out. There should be no problem since gorilla would probably pick you up at the same time." Adrien thought to himself for a while. He did not want to miss the opportunity to hang out with his friends but he is also afraid that if his Father learned the truth, things would turn out ugly. Nonetheless, he choose to join them. It's been a long time since the four of them had a get-together. He turned towards Alya and nodded his head.

"Oh yea! Man you should try their Oreo cheesecake, it's the best!" Nino exclaimed. He is overjoyed that Adrien gets to hang out with them. Even though they are best buds, they rarely get to hang out, which saddens Nino a lot. However, he knew it was not Adrien's choice to not hang out with him so he just lets it go.

The four of them grabbed their bags and headed out to the cafe. The cafe provided a cozy feeling, the feeling of a warm house filled with love. Adrien used. To have that but he does not remember any of it anymore. It's been years and he had learned how to accept the fact and move on, as much as he loved his Mother.

They found a table and all of them sat and chatted until it was time for Adrien's fencing class. Everything was going great until he received a reminder. He bid them goodbye and walked back to school alone. Just then, the rest of them ran behind him. They looked at each other and smiled. No way are they letting Adrien go back by himself. They slowly walked back to see the gorilla already waiting out at the front. He got in and waved them goodby for real this time and sighed. All he wanted was a normal life. If he could not have a normal life at  home, he wishes to do so with his friends. Anyways it's impossible for him to ever lead a normal life. He is Chat noir, the hero. That is far from normal, especially for a teenager.

Just then he realised that he wasn't going to the fencing studio. Instead, he is outside home. He looked at the gorilla ridiculously and all he did was pointed at the entrance. Adrien grabbed his bag and got out of the car and walked in to the mansion. He did not know what was wrong. Did his Father find out that he hung out with his Friend switch out his consent? Was that the reason for why he was sent back home, for a lecture instead of going for fencing classes.

However, as he opened the door, he was shocked. Hawkmoth stood, waiting for him. He dropped everything and took the umbrella by the entrance, ready to fight him. He does not have his baton but an umbrella is better than nothing. "Ahhh, you are finally back!" Hawkmoth broke the silence. Adrien remained fearful.

"What do you want and where is my Father?!" Adrien demanded. As controlling his Father is, he is still his Father and the only family member he have left.

"Do you want your perfect family back? I can bring your Mother back if you give me that ring of yours, Chat noir," Hawkmoth calmly asked. However, Adrien froze. How does he know he is Chat noir. Then Hawkmoth continued, "you must be thinking how do I know right? Well, it is not hard to notice the activities of my own Son. Does that answer your second question Adrien?"

Adrien collapse, the umbrella dropping to the ground. "Dad?" He was fighting against his own father the whole time?

"So what do you say, I bring mom back, but you give me your miraculous at the right time and get that earring from that lady of yours?" Hawkmoth paused, "it's ok I'll give you some time. It's your choice." Hawkmoth returned back to his room. Adrien forcefully moved himself back into his room and leaned on the door as the first tear escapes.
