Plagg comes out from the coat. He placed his hand on Adrien's face and lifted it slightly, "hey kid you alright?" Plagg was genuinely concerned about this owner of his. He has grown attached to this owner even though he convinces himself each time not to. He does not want to see another master of his fall onto the wrong path. He thought back to every master he had, and all ends up with an unhappy ending and he really wishes this kid has his own happy ending.

Adrien mumbled, "Plagg, I get to see my Mother again. I can have a happy family again."

"Don't be silly Adrien! Everything comes at a price. To gain something, you have to lose something. Listen to me kid, if that wish was made, the balance of the world would be disrupted." Plagg exclaimed. He could not believe that this stupid master of his would ever consider. He thought that Adrien was sensible, rationale and would never be this selfish. The whole world could be at stake because of his stupid wish for his Mother to come back.

"That's my Mother, Plagg! My chance at happiness!"

"At the stake of the world! I want you to be happy too but I can assure you, if you gain happiness someone else would lose theirs. If you got a happy family, you may destroy the friends you enjoy now. I sincerely-"

"Shut up Plagg! Claws out!" Plagg got cut off and was sucked into the ring. He escaped through his window and started to leap from building to building, just trying to clear his head. He constantly thought what does Plagg know, all Plagg loves is his camembert. However, he could not shake off what Plagg said. His friends, Alya, Nino and Marinette. Would he really lose them if he helped his Father. He found himself going towards Marinette's house.

He was just about to just peek in when the window opened and Chat quickly hid himself. "Chat, I know you are out there." Chat peeked his head from above. Marinette smiled at how goofy her kitty was and invited him in. Chat entered through her balcony door and sat on the bed. The room was filled with pictures of him, in his civilian form. She must really liked designs, he thought. Chat explored the room when Marinette went downstairs temporarily.

Marinette soon returned with a tray of freshly baked cookies. He placed them in front of Chat and he started nibbling on it. Marinette noticed that Chat noir was a little off but she thought that it was not her place to say anything. She sat by her table, drawing designs on her sketchbook. She mindlessly doodled, worried about Chat.

Then, a shadow loomed over her. "Your designs are beautiful, as expected of an upcoming designer." Marinette blushed and shook her head. She is merely just Marinette. Her designs do not matter that much. It might not be seen by the world anyways. She closed her sketchbook and turned her chair and came face to face with Chat who have taken a step back.

"I don't know is it my place but is something the matter?" Marinette asked with concern. This is not the Chat she knows. He has not flirted or made a single pun. The normal Chat would be making a pun every chance he gets. All Chat did was gave her a small smile and explained that he did not feel like sharing. He just thought of her and wanted to visit, thinking of his friends. Marinette was a little disappointed but respected his decisions. It must have been hard for Chat to be this down.

To lighten the mood, she suggested to play video games. However, Chat politely declined. He was not feeling it and it was getting late. He did not want to bother Marinette further. Unconsciously, he bothered her by being so distant from her. All she wanted was to be there for him but guess they were not close enough. Chat said goodbye to Marinette, thanked her for the cookies and for just being there and left.

Marinette could not help but still be concerned about Chat. Somehow, Chat reminded her a lot of Adrien. She looked at the pictures on wall. She did not know why she still had his pictures up. She told herself long ago that they will be just friends and nothing more. She was determined to move on and put her feelings aside and focus on the friendship that was precious to Adrien.

Outside her room, Chat was still looking in, observing Marinette. He noticed how sad Marinette was. He could not help but wonder why. He had been so focused on his own situation that he did not notice how his princess had been feeling. He is not the only one that is going through stuff.

He observed for a while more before he went back into his room. He lay on the bed and thought, how nice would it be if he could just stay by his friends' side and not worry about anything. He looked around for Plagg but found Plagg sitting far away from him. He should have expected that. Instead of his Susan feat of pleasing Plagg with camembert, he just got ready for bed and slept, leaving Plagg alone in the very same corner that Plagg was in. Plagg has no intentions of moving either.
