Crap, this was not according to plan.

My wolf growled in my head, What plan?! You foolishly ran in a direction for days.

I sighed, not letting her get to me. Slowly I laid down and pulled my ears back as the eight werewolves came out behind the trees. They looked at me with so much curiosity that I felt insecure and shrank back even more. One of the wolves had a powerful aura around him. Suddenly he shifted back and stepped closer to me. One step turned into five, and he was right in front of me. He looked around 25, but I could be wrong. He was around 5'9" with dark black hair and golden brown eyes. Full luscious lips and a crocked nose that got broken too much. His chest was amazing even without a six pack on them. No, not every werewolf was perfect with an amazing six pack. Some were, while others laughed at the stereotype. Good thing he changed into basketball shorts before my eyes went any lower. I realized the old bruises and scars on his body and felt bad for him. Maybe he was a nice guy under that rough exterior? Do you really believe that Emma? My wolf was shaking her head at my obviously naive judgement.  A fighter of the pack. just like him, if he was a fighter the rest of the wolves must be too.

"Shift back before I kill you." He growled a little at the end.

I flinched visibly and shifted back. Nice guy my butt. He threw his shirt at me and I put it on quickly.

"You don't look like a rouge. I have never seen nor smelled you before so you are not of this pack. Speak. What is your name and what is your business with us?"

I was shocked at his statement. I looked down at the ground and a tear ran down my cheek before I could stop it. Before they realized my sudden weakness, I looked at a nearby leaf and focus all of my attention on it.

"Answer me! Do you think that just because you're a girl that I will not punish you?! SPEAK!"

More tears ran down my face. Maybe I shouldn't have left. Maybe he was right, I do belong trapped and punished for my bare existence. One of the wolves shifted and touched his shoulder in brotherly manner.

"Calm down Aaron, can't you see she's scared? I don't think she's a potential threat to the pack." He had black hair and the same eyes as Aaron did. Maybe they were brothers? He was shorter than Aaron, 5'7" perhaps but he was still 4 inches taller than me. Unlike Aaron, he had a full six pack and didn't bother changing. I adverted my eyes quickly before any of them caught my blush.

"I don't care, the Alpha will have my head if I just let her lose in our territory. I know what I'm doing Jason. Back off."

I looked up at the stranger named Jason and got lost in his dreamy eyes. He frowned at Aaron, as if he knows a secret. He looked at me showing a small smile and walked over to me.

"I'm Jason, Jason Evers. That is my brother Aaron. I'm sorry, he's a bit grouchy today because he didn't get laid last night."

"I heard that!" Aaron growled at Jason.

Jason chuckled, "It's true isn't  it? Poor Apple. It's okay, not everyone can have godly looks and personality like me."

"It is not true! We have the same looks! We're twins for god sakes! Your ego does not need any more boosts, I think your height is starting to suffer from it. And for your information, I just happen to take trespassers seriously unlike you, Jay."

"A-- Apple?" I gasped. Those were the first words I've said since the accident. I quickly adverted my eyes to another place. That was so embarrassing!

"She speaks! Now tell me, what is your name and what is your business here?" Aaron looked straight in my eyes.  I felt as if all the oxygen around me disappeared. I couldn't say anything. No words were forming in my mind and it just suddenly became blank. I looked down, ashamed of myself. Aaron growled instantly, grabbing my wrist to stand up.
