I was heading towards one of the shacks to get Ryan and I some sunscreen, considering he insisted that I get some even through it takes longer for the sun to penetrate my skin. Anyhow I was walking towards the shack when I bumped into a weird lady. I happened to knock all her stuff down.
"I'm so sorry. I wasn't paying attention." We said at the same time. I looked up and she happened to be my Idol.
"Sasha Jones?" I questioned. She looked at me in the eyes and fright overcame her. Suddenly she started crying. Did I do something wrong? So I picked up what she had.
"I'm sorry. I usually don't cry when people mention my name." She said wiping her tears. "Yes I'm Sasha Jones. How do you know me?"
"I grew up watching interviews and studying your life. You're my main inspiration." More tears seemed to fall from her eyes.
"Can I tell you something?" She asked. I nodded.
"I think you're my long lost daughter." I chuckled. I wish I was Sasha Jones daughter. However her daughter had been k-
"Wait are you serious?" I asked. She nodded. I chuckled at myself for actually believing for three seconds that I was this woman's daughter. She had gone through some emotional damage after losing her daughter. Even going as far as divorcing the love of her life.
"Ma'am. I'm sorry but I'm not-"
"Please. Can we do a DNA test?" This was all so much so suddenly.
"I-I don-"
"If you will allow me I can explain more in a more private location. If you're not my daughter you'll be compensated generously for just participating."
"Ms.Jones I don't need you money."
"Please, just let me do this?" She looked lost, broken, i don't know how she managed to keep a happy face to the public all these years. Sighing I decided to do it.
"Okay I'll do it."
"Okay, I'll give you my card it has my personal number on it. Text me and then I'll text you a location where we can talk about this. I'm sorry to be so weird but if I wasn't sure I wouldn't have asked." She said rapidly going through her things to get her business card. She handed to me and I looked at it. Wow even her business cards were high quality.
"Of course the DNA test would take place about a week from now which gives-"
"You more time to retrieve information." I finished. This was real. Could I be Sasha Jones and Calum Jones biological daughter? Or was I doing this because I really hated my own family?
"Don't tell anyone." She said sternly. I nodded, just then Ryan came from behind me and I gave her a questioning look. "Fine. You can only tell him. Make sure he tells no one else."
"Thank you." I sighed and she smiled at me and Ryan before she left.
"Who was that?" Ryan asked.
"Sasha Jones. I have some classified information that we can't discuss in public."
"Oh okay. Tell me when you're comfortable." I don't know how I was feeling but I needed a hug.
"Can I give you a hug?" I asked. I don't know why but I felt like crying. Before I could even wrap my arms around Ryan he was squeezing me.
"Whatever she told you, just know it's going to be okay." I nodded against his abs a sly smile grown on my face as I closed my eyes and deeply inhaled him.
"Are you smelling me?" My eyes shot open and I released him.
"Psh, no. You smell like sweat anyways." That was a lie.
"Yeah right. Let's go get some sunscreen. You know the ozone layer is thinning."
"Yes, I know." I groaned both of us starting to walk to the shack together.

Soon it was time for us to go home once again and I was excited to take a shower and head to bed because I was exhausted. We got to our room when Ryan said,
"Get dressed we're going out." I groaned.
"I'm too broke to go out." Lie.
"So what? I'm paying. Are you going to tell me what you were doing with Sasha Jones?"
"You know her too?" He nodded.
"How could I not?" I smiled to myself and closed our room door.
"Okay, Iknow this is crazy but don't judge me." I started to whisper. "Sasha Jones thinks I'm her daughter." Ryan raised his eyebrow.
"Jeez what have you gotten yourself into?" He said heading to the closet.
"Are you judging me, I told you don't judge me."
"Sorry, I'm trying to keep an open mind. But what if she is."
"It'll solve a lot of problems you know, I would of course try to put the woman who took me to jail. Then I would try to make up for lost time y'know." He came back and stood in front of me. He tilted my chin up at him.
"At the end of the day Malorie, I just don't want you getting hurt. So don't get your hopes up for them to be ruined."
"Are you doubting that I could be related to Sasha Jones?" I asked angrily.
"No I'm just saying I don't want to see you hurt." He said. I rolled my eyes.
"Okay. I'm taking a shower first."
"Malorie." He groaned. He noticed that I was a bit angry at what he had said.
"What?" My eyes had watered as I got my clothes. Before I could enter the bathroom Ryan stopped me.
"Talk to me Malorie." That was Ryan, he constantly played therapist and wanted me to talk things out.
Can I take a-"
"Talk." He said sternly. I was getting frustrated now. Not because Ryan was forcing me to talk about my feelings but because I have dusted off feelings I've put away for years.
"For years I've felt like I haven't belonged with these people. They've treated me so horribly and I just thing that if she is my mother it's going to magically solve all the trauma I've endured for the past two decades." He wiped my tears and looked at me.
"It's going to be okay Malorie."
