Today was a Monday

And my very good friend Sorrow offered to hang out with me for the day

I always had a big crush on her, I just didn't know how, or when, to tell her

The doorbell rang

I opened the door, only to see my friend ZalcusOfSorrow

"You ready to go?" She asked me

"Yep!" I replied

I grabbed my bag and walked out the door

We both were walking when Sorrow turned to me and said

"Hey Y/N, so there's something I need your help with"

"What is it?" I asked

"Well, there's this girl..." Sorrow started

"And she's been on my mind for a while, and I think I... like her" Sorrow said shyly

I just stared blankly

"Oh... I see" I tried forcing a smile

I was breaking inside

I should have known, Sorrow is an amazing person, and I'm... nothing

"I need your help picking out a gift for her..." Sorrow said blushing

"Oh... yah sure!" I said trying to hide my true feelings

"Really? Thank you so much!" She said happily

Seeing her happy made me feel just a little happier

We both walked to a jewelry store

"Ok, you're a girl, you seem to know what girls like, if you could get a gift, which would you want?" She asked

"Oh uh, let me see..." I said and started looking around the store

I saw this beautiful sapphire necklace on a silver chain.

"Hey Sorrow!" I called her name

"Yeah Y/N?" She responded

"This necklace is beautiful! I bet this special girl would absolutely love it!" I said smiling

"Good eye Y/N!" She said happily

We bought the necklace, and left the store

I went home, and flopped on my bed

Tears started spilling from my eyes immediately

I cried myself to sleep that night

I woke up to a text from Sorrow

Sorrow💕 - Goooood morning!

Me - good morning :)

Sorrow💕 - Hey, I need another favor... can you meet me at the beach at 6 pm today?

Me: oh uh, yah sure

Sorrow💕 - Awesome! See you there ^^

I sighed

"It's probably about this girl again... UGH! Why can't she just.... DISAPPEAR!"

I slammed my fists in the table alerting my dog

She started barking

"It's ok Winona! Realax!" I stroked her back to reassure her

She fell back asleep

•Time skip to 5:40 pm because I'm a lazy poo•

It was time that I head to the beach to meet Sorrow for that favor...

When I arrived, I saw Sorrow on the boardwalk

"Hey Sorrow!" I waved

"Oh... hey!" She waved back

"So uh... what's that favor you wanted?" I asked

"Oh that... I just used that as an excuse to get you here" she said and started blushing slightly

"Then what is it you want?" I ask confused

"Well, there's something that I've been wanting to tell you for a while now..." she took a deep breath

"That girl that I said I liked, it's you! I've always had feelings for you, but I was always too nervous to tell you" she said and started blushing intensely

"Sorrow... I... I like you too! I was so sad when you said you liked someone... wait- is this a dream? Pinch me please" I said

"Uh. Ok." She said as she pinched my arm

I yelped

"Oh my gosh- this isn't a dream" I said and I started smiling

We hugged for a good 10 minutes until she pulled me into a kiss

I went home happier than I ever was before
