Jaden woke up to the repeating beeping of her alarm clock. “Ugh!”, she groaned. She dreaded having to go to Columbus High School. She snoozed her alarm and laid back down. Not too long afterwards, her mom burst through the door. “I heard your alarm go off. You’re not skipping school today Jaden”, Jaden’s mom yanked the covers off Jaden. Jaden turned over in her bed and buried her face in her pillow.  “Come on Jaden get up! Get up”, Jaden’s mom yelled holding her ankles about to drag her out of the bed. Jaden, fearing that she’d hit the floor, decided to sit up. “Fine... fine. And I’m up”, Jaden sat up and grumpily looked at her mom. “Can’t believe that your younger brothers are more responsible than you”, Jaden’s mom rolled her eyes and walked out the room. Jaden mocked her mom and adjusted to the sunlight. When she was good, she put on her glasses and went to her bathroom. The main bathroom was connected to her and her brother’s room. There bathroom also had an extra room that contained the toilet and shower. Jaden grabbed her turquoise toothbrush and her toothpaste and went to the toilet. It Is strange to any outsider to brush your teeth while on the toilet but to Jaden and anyone close to her knows that it was normal (and quicker). She finished brushing her teeth and turned the bath water on. She spits out the remainder toothpaste while also taking the moment to wash her hands. She leaves her room and goes back to her room. She picked out a white shirt with horizontal mustard stripes and some green pants. She put one her nearly worn out but, somehow till clean, black converse. After getting dressed, she went to the kitchen to see her brothers doing their regular things. Which was fighting over who gets her toast. Her mom was tending to the stove making some eggs. She was wearing her dark purple business suit that was covered in vertical stripes. She turned around to Jaden. “Do you want any eggs?”, she had a plate already in her hand. Jaden shook her head ‘no’ and went to go get her toast before her greedy brothers get it. She picked up her back pack from beside the table along with her car keys from the counter. Her mom quickly stopped her by grabbing her arm. “It’s not that far. You can walk”, She took Jaden’s keys away from her hand. Jaden groaned and walked out the door, closing it behind her.
