She couldn't spend as much time with him, as he jetted off at any given chance, having to do this and that and it couldn't even bother her. What could she do about it?
She spent her time shopping with Mary, who seemed happier than ever, dropping Frankie to the curb after finding out he just found her, "Swell." And she had tea at cafe noir as often as she thought Robert would enjoy taking her there, sitting down for Wendy's tea. A lot more people recognised her from the tabloids, which irked her slightly, but she learned to live with it, only focusing on her friend.
"And can you believe he gave me a raise? All for nothing? I opened my paycheque and there it was, an extra fifty dollars!"
Sandy smiled at her, nodding all knowingly, "That's amazing, Wendy."
But Wendy smirked, "I went to ask him, you minx, I know it was you."
"You do?" she chuckled.
"Yeah, and I'm grateful," she clasped Sandy's hand, "Thank you."
"It's fine. I'd do it again."

She went home later that day, when the sun would soon set, swinging her purse up to the door. By the time, Ronnie had had a key made for her, knowing he wouldn't always be there. And she saw him waiting for her as she opened the door, in a sharp suit.
She frowned, but he held his hands out to her, opting her to place her hands in his. She smirked, "Ronnie?"
"Would you join me in a night on the town, Sandy?"
She giggled, "Oh why not?"

He got Robert to drive them in the Rolls, holding Sandy close to him, "If I could, I would have you right now in this seat."
She felt herself go red, but she had missed him, her hand resting on his inner thigh, "Why don't you?"
He chuckled, kissing her neck.

Sitting in that nice restaurant with the koi fish, she looked at herself in the reflection of the spoon, giggling at her distorted face in this silver. He looked at her in amusement, taking her hand, "Sorry I haven't been around so much, you must know I hate leaving you."
"And I hate when you leave, but it's alright now," she smiled at him.
"Chose anything you want," he told her.
She opened the menu, "Oh, I don't see you anywhere in here," she smirked at him.
He smirked back, shaking his head.
She didn't feel too hungry, but it became more apparent that that wasn't the point of the evening.
She was mid-strawberry cheesecake, when a waiter bought them two glasses of champagne.
She raised a brow, "What are we celebrating?" she chuckled.
"Oh, nothing special," he shrugged. She narrowed her eyes at him, downing the glass, but paused when she felt something inside it. She put the glass down, peering inside and she gasped.

She sat back, hand over her mouth in shock, for there was a silver ring inside, gleaming inside the crystal glass.

"Oh!"
Ronnie chuckled, getting up and then proceeding to get down on one knee, taking the ring out of the glass and wiping it with his handkerchief. He knelt by her, taking her shaking hand in his. Her heart was racing, but so was his. They locked eyes.
They attracted attention, everyone being the lovers with excitement.
"Sandy, I haven't met anybody like you ever; and you make me so happy. I know that the way we are is because of something we don't need to speak about, but if I'm being honest, I wouldn't have liked to meet you any other way. I'm so in love with you Sandy, and if you'd make me the happiest man on earth by saying yes, I'd like to marry you and make you the happiest girl on the planet."
She was speechless, but then she felt the tears slide down her face. She got down on the floor with him, looking into his eyes, and she nodded, "Yes, of course I'll marry you!"
He had the biggest grin on his face as he slid the ring on to her finger, taking her left hand gently as the spectators erupted into applause.
She cupped his face and kissed his face and then his lips, arms tightly around his neck.

Their foreheads touched and she smiled at him, as the cameras flashed around them. She didn't even care,"And I thought you couldn't make me love you any more than this."
He chuckled, "You are the piece I've been missing my whole life, Sandy."
"I love you, Ronnie. So, so much."
