There was a being, the only being within the entirety of the empty universe. A dull space. Nothing existed beside the single being. He is now known as God, the King, the ultimate being, the creator of Heaven, Hell, and all of the other millions of realms beyond space and time itself. A divine being beyond the comprehension of any. Even the motive of creation was unknown to any.
On a chosen day, God decided to create demons from liquid rock and flames, after which he solidified the body and blew life into it. He created humans from mud and clay, angels from light, and the guardian's from Xyranium, the strongest and rarest substance in the universe.
The demons were foul and destructive creatures raised to cause chaos and havoc amongst all races. They were gifted the manipulation of fire, known as pyrokinetic abilities, and also, for some of the lucky demons, to be able to create it. God gave demons the job of being able to consume or torture the souls of the sinners who denied to repent. This race was looked down upon by the angels and guardians due to their despicable actions and their animalistic behaviour almost as though they were psychopaths... Maybe they were.
The angels were gentle, kind, caring and they represented all good characteristics that could be thought of. They were a perfect race - free of sin. They controlled the Earth, Water, Land, and Skies. They made it rain, snow, hail or thunder. They were in charge of causing volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, and other natural disasters. They would do these tasks only when they are commanded by God to carry them out. It's almost as though they didn't have the ability to choose they were born to be perfect. Nothing peculiar about any of them. Majestic, beautiful and faithful. Those three words summed up the entire race.
The guardian's, on the other hand, were quite similar to humans. They committed sins here and there however they mainly carry out righteous deeds. They were a race of mighty warriors created to protect the universe from any extremely dangerous threats. Their main task was to protect humanity from bloodthirsty, rampaging demons. They were bestowed the title of the most powerful of all races, or so people thought.
For billions of years there were no flaws in the creations of God. Every race did as they were supposed to. Perfectly carrying out their duties. But it was on a day that would be remembered as the start of something which would carve the path of the world. One of the Elder Guardians gave birth to a son of incredibly immense power. This Elder Guardian was the mother of the child. Her name was Veronica.
Her beauty was beyond anything one could imagine. The wind blew her long blonde hair to the side. She was the very definition of beauty. She had skin of an attractive, smooth, pale complexion. She wore the traditional white and gold robe of the Elder Guardians, an additional gold headband on her head, and her wings were a shimmering silver, almost impossible to miss as they reflected the rays of the sun.
The child that had been born was unusual. What was quite peculiar was the fact that he didn't look like a guardian. Nor did he look like any other race's spawn. Rather he looked as though he was a part of a completely new race. Who he was? What he was? That was the danger which presented itself. A being from the depths of the unknown. After all everyone is scared of that which they do not understand. But a mother loves her son regardless. The child's mother named him Asteroth.
On that same day there was another child who was born, the son of the Guardian King - Seven. His son also seemed quite different. He looked like a guardian but he had a mark on his forehead. This mark was the symbol of an infinite loop. Despite his differences he still seemed like a guardian and he was the child of the guardian king. A number of people simply decided it was a mark which proves he was powerful and was to be the next guardian king. The child was named Zero.
An unusual creature with wings came flying onto the ledge of a window next to Asteroth and his mother. Veronica placed Asteroth on the creatures back quite gently and spoke in a soothing voice "Take my child as far away from here as you possibly can.. Make sure his father takes him, and always keep an eye on him." She turned to look at the crying baby and tears welled up in her eyes before dripping out and flowing down her cheek. Then she said once again in a calming voice, "Take care my child. You are special, don't let anyone get you down. Your father will protect you from here. You must stop the guardians, and the apocalypse." The meaning of her last words? Well that was unknown.
The creature flew away with Asteroth. A few seconds later multiple Guardian Soldiers and the Captain of the Army came rushing through the door and seized the woman. After that blood scattered and stained the spotless ground as a sharp steel sword dug into Veronica's neck easily exiting through the other side. The Captain had - unmistakably - killed her and he recited with evident authority, "Your life... has been taken on behalf of the Guardian King, His Majesty Seven, for giving birth to the child of a demon. May God show mercy upon you who have disgraced the guardian race."
