"Wow, it's really pretty tonight mom." I say "It really is.." my mom says while leaning her head on me. My mom has blonde hair and green eyes, I love her with ALL my heart.
Later I started to get bored looking at the night sky, plus I was really tried. "Hey mom, I'm tried I'm gonna go to bed." I say while rubbing my eyes. She nods and I get up and go to my room. I go to the bathroom and get ready to go to bed. When I finish getting ready for bed I go to my room and lay down, drifting off to sleep.

....I wake up to the loud sounds of the city sirens, (Sorry if Ireland doesn't have sirens in this book they do). My family was gone, I refused to leave my house. I can't leave. I hurry and run to the TV to see what was going on.
