1 ▪ Beginning

Chapter One: Beginning
Naruto Uzumaki

One day I'll be able to walk on the streets without fearing others will kill me. On my birthday I'll be able to celebrate instead of hiding. They won't call me a demon or a monster, they'll call me Naruto. I just have to keep waiting, It'll all get better.

Right?

Present Day

"OI IDIOT!! Are you listening to Kakashi-sensei?!"
"Sorry, Sakura-chan."
"Well, I was saying that we have a mission to deliver a scroll to the Kazekage. So meet me at the gates with the things you need in 2 hours."

"Hai Sensei!" 

Timeskip

"Kakashi-sensei maybe we could take a break." Sakura had been asking for the last five minutes.
"Fine let's tak-"
"Kakashi-sensei?"
"Be on alert."
Sasuke pulled out a kunai, I held a flash bomb behind my back, and Sakura got into a fighting stance.  A  blonde appeared in front of us, he really didn't look like a shinobi but whatever.

"Naruto!" I threw the flash bomb in front of him and we ran.
 "Stop." A redhead was blocking our escape.
"Go protect the scroll!" Kakashi yelled.
 "Shadow Clone Jutsu," I muttered, a clone went with my teammates who were running into the forest while I stayed with Kakashi who was engaged in battle with the redhead. 

Naruto Uzumaki - Clone 

Sakura had fainted, Sasuke and I were barely being able to dodge the senbon coming at us. I jumped in front of Sasuke. "Dobe what are-"

Yuuto Uzumaki-Namikaze

Naruto poofed into a cloud of smoke and then the stupid Uchiha stabbed me, I kicked him away and retreated.

The mission had to be completed no matter what.

Naruto Uzumaki

I quickly interfered after the redhead stabbed Kakashi in the shoulder.
"Naruto you are supposed to be with your teammates!"
I really didn't have the time to explain myself because the redhead was a persistent fighter, his attacks were fast, I could barely dodge them.
"Kakashi-Sensei go after Sasuke and Sakura I um... Think I got this!"
"Na-"
"Please!"
He nodded and took off to the trees, while I wasn't paying attention I was punched in the stomach.
"I don't want the fight!" The redhead yelled
"Then what do you want?"
"You and the scroll."
"I am not something to give away!"

Sasuke Uchiha

I spit out a bit of blood and looked back at the trees where blonde had retreated, he was strong, and Sakura wasn't much help the girl had fainted when she saw a few sendons. Naruto turned out to be just a shadow clone, there no way I could have won.

"Sasuke get Sakura and run!" I turned and saw Kakashi running towards us but he was injured.
"Where's Naruto?!" He didn't respond.
"Where's Naruto?!"
I already knew what he had done he had left Naruto behind.
I took off towards Naruto's chakra signature, I couldn't lose him even if he was an idiot!

Naruto Uzumaki

It took every bit of strength to stand back up, this guy just wouldn't go down.
"S-shadow C-clone Jutsu." A clone appeared and took off heading to Sasuke, he had the scroll and they would be going after him.

The redhead just stood there and stared at me, like how I saw some parents stare at their children, filled with love. But then he disappeared and I felt something being slapped on to my back, and for the first time, I stopped fighting back and fell unconscious.

Ichiro Uzumaki-Namikaze

I picked my younger brother up and held him bridal style, the first part of the mission was complete, it up to Ryo now.

Ryo Uzumaki-Namikaze

I followed the Uchiha waiting for the perfect time to strike, he seemed to be heading towards Ichiro and Naruto. Ichiro has probably already left with Naruto, hopefully, he went easy on him.

I flared my chakra and the Uchiha immediately got into fighting position looking around in the trees looking for me. I dropped down behind him only to be kicked in the gut.
"Sasuke!" That voice.

Sasuke Uchiha

I backed away from the man slowly while he was distracted, I was a good 5 feet away when Naruto emerged from the trees.
"Sasuke don't let them have the scroll!" After he yelled that he poofed into a cloud of smoke.
'Damn it! A clone.'
The enemy finally snapped out of it and turned to me with so much hate, an immense amount of KI rolling off him, so much that I wasn't able to move.
"Konohagakure..." He started out. "Will fall! And when we're done with it, it'll just be a pile of rubble."
"LIKE HELL IT WILL!" I yelled.
"You'll be the first to go."
He pulled out a kunai and ran towards me I was quick to block the attack, but they kept coming, he was appearing and disappearing in different locations. Soon I was covered in deep cuts, I was going to die.

"There is no value in killing the likes of you... My foolish brother... If you want to kill me... curse me! Hate me! And live a long and unsightly life... Run away... run away... and cling to your pitiful life. And then someday, when you have the same eyes as I do, come before me."

I kicked him away and activated my Sharingan.
 I couldn't die. Not until I kill Itachi. Not until I get my revenge!
"Oh, the little duckling can actually fight back." He taunted, he arosed and dusted himself, he turned toward me with a murderous smile. 
Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my stomach, I looked down and saw a katana sticking out of my stomach. I fell to the ground but before I fell unconscious I heard. "You can keep it if you survive."
