Chapter 11

Taehyung Pov

It's Sunday night already and I decided to opened my phone. Messages from Jungkook appearing one by one. I'm a little scared and nervous to open and read his messages, so I just kept staring at my phone for a moment.

I'm afraid that Jungkook's messages just contain a never ending sorry's and apologies. I don't want him to be sorry because it only means that what happen between us is just a mistake for him.

After calming myself, I started to read his messages. "Tae, please open your goddamn phone and answer my calls. I need to talk to you."I need to sort out things with you."I know you've been shocked after realizing what happened to us but I never regret it." Please, talk to me and don't just runaway from the situation."I don't want to risk and compromise our working relationship." Please, Tae talk to me." Jungkook bombarded my phone with his messages.

I feel my tears falling down on both sides of my cheeks. I suddenly missed him but I'm still having doubts. How I am suppose to work with him without having an awkward feeling. His my boss for God sake and I just let it all happen.

I continue reading his messages while wiping my tears rolling down from my eyes. "Tae, I want to go to your place but I have a flight tonight going to Japan. I will stay there for a week. We will talk when I come back and promise me you will be ready by then and don't runaway anymore." " It may sound ridiculous to you but I miss you already Tae."" Take care always, okay?"

I feel relieved that he will be out of the country for a week. I have at least a week to regain my composure.After what happened, I don't know if I can be able to concentrate at work or morover to work with Jungkook anymore.

(time skip to Friday)

Taehyung is busy typing on his computer on his desk when Jimin interrupted him. Jimin seat in front of Taeghyung trying to caught his attention.

"Tae, loosen up. I've notice you're been acting strange this days. You barely smile and sometimes I see you spacing out. Is there something bothering you."You know you can share it with me." Jimin hold Taehyung's hand with an reassuring smile.

Taehyung smiled back at Jimin and stopped typing on his computer. "I'm okay, Chim. Just stress with work. Don't worry, I will just take a rest and I will be fine." Jimin tapped Taehyung's shoulder for comfort.

"Don't forget Tae, tomorrow is our trip to Hawaii. You need to prepare yourself and just enjoy okay, and I'm so excited coz you choose me to accompany you." I heard they have a lot of beautiful beaches and we will have the best days of our lives." Jimin claps his hands like an excited kid.

" Okay, Chim. Get out of here and let me finish my work so we can go home already and starts preparing for our trip." Taehyung slightly push Jimin towards the door and continue working.

When Jimin is gone, Taehyung leaned back on his chair and cross his arms on his chest. He begin to space out again. Suddenly flashbacks from the past came on his mind. He still remember when he first met Jungkook, he was so nervous that day because Jungkook is so distant and cold towards him. But as days pass by, he started to be at ease to me maybe because he saw how dedicated I am at work.

"But come to think of it, we never got a chance to talk about our family. I doubt if he even know that I'm already an orphan, that my mother died when I was still in college." Taehyung said to himself still leaning back on his chair. " He also never open up to me about his family. All I know is that his mother is currently in America having a treatment.

Taehyung close his computer and finally get up preparing to go home. He will take advantage of his trip to Hawaii to unwind and have a self-reflect. It's a good thing that he won again the "Face of the Night" title and his having a privilege to visit and explore Hawaii with Jimin.
