"mikaela! come down here!" mikaela straus was beyond an aberrant woman. no one seemed to be able to understand mikaela in the way she desired to be understood. it was as though an young girl was trapped and confined inside an grown woman's body.

mikaela was an concoction of innocence and unexpected deviance. yet, how could someone with the perfection of life end up in an unrecognizable experience? what had happened to mikaela straus? no one would ever know. mikaela huffed as she glanced at her porcelain dolls.

"why won't mother leave me alone? i don't want to be bothered right now." the procelian dolls only stared into her soul. mikaela exclaimed. "exactly! you guys are such great friends.

no one understands me like you do." "mikaela! come downstairs now!" her mother instructed. mikaela's mother was the only family member who dealt with mikaela's behavior. her family beginnings were nothing but horrendous.

mikaela's mother used to have an sweetened heart. yet her father absorbed all the life her mother once knew. mikaela could not stand it anymore. she would not let her life be thrown into disappearance because of someone's atrocious behavior. then came an wintry night in december.

that night would be the last night her father was marked as an living man. ever since then her mother's heart drenched of malevolence. "yes mother?" mikaela asked. "smooth out your skirt! you can't be looking improper for your age.

i've set you up for a date tonight." mikaela rolled her eyes. "i hate this ridiculous skirt anyways. it's like you've placed me into the nineteenth century. also, i don't want to go on a date with anyone mother. i rather stay here."

her mother's fingers enclasped around mikaela's wrist. "as long as you are under my roof, you will do what i say! you are lucky i am even allowing you to date a woman! be grateful for once!" mikaela's teeth scraped against her bottom lip. "alright, please let go of my wrist mother."

"i don't understand you mikaela. i thought your future would be filled with nothing but success. i was completely wrong. you're a lowlife! i thought i taught you better than this! all you do is stay in your room and speak to these idiotic dolls!"

mikaela retorted. "they're not idiotic! they're my friends!" mikaela's mother snatched the doll that was held in her hand. "life is not a game! life is not filled with dolls and pure sunshine!

get that through your head, you stupid girl!" tears welled up in mikaela's eyes. "mother give me my doll back. she's done nothing to you!" "this doll is not a she! this is nothing but garbage!" her mother thrashed the porcelain doll onto the floor.
