We're finally in the big city of Chicago! After a 3 hour plane ride from Orlanda. I'm so glad Lily came with me. We get off the airplane after a 20 min. wait, while an old man got wheel chaired off of the plane. We went through the tunnel connected to the airport. The first person I see is a cute security guy, I wink at him but it turn out like a glitch in my eyeball. He looks at me like I just threw up on his shoes which makes me walk like a soccer mom. Lily doesn't realize I walked ahead and has to jog to keep up.
After the airport fiasco, we get in a yellow taxi and say our address 441 center street Chicago, Illinois!
We pulled into a parking spot and paid our $13.69. I see our apartment or what it looks like on google images.
I ring the bell and here a guy ask,
"Who are you?"
" Kennedy Smith" I yell in what I hope is the speaker.
The door open automatically. We walk into the lobby and see a giant chandelier and leather couches to sit on. We see the front desk to the left and decide to check in.
" Hi, are you Kennedy Smith?" the man in the yellow blazer with a bald head asked.
"Yes!"
"You are in apartment 12B. Here are you keys, if you ever lose one come to the front desk for another. Have a nice day."
We walk into the elevator, and see that it is a gold wall with diamond engraved buttons.
"This place is amazing!" Lily says with a huge grin on
her face.
We go on floor 12 and see apartment B.
"Woah!" I scream when I see the amazing room. It has white couches, a gourmet kitchen, a spiral staircase, and 3 bedrooms.
" Could Chicago get any better!" I ask to my partner in crime Lily.
" I really don't think it could" We start searching the apartment and pick our rooms. I picked the purple room with peacock feather pieces.
Lily chose the room with green lilacs scattered around the room. I decide to start unpacking so I have less to do later. I hang all my shirts and dresses up and decide to do shorts, underwear, socks, swimming suits later. I decide to start writing a grocery and random shopping list.
1. eggs
2. milk
3. bread
4. hangers
5. alarm clock
I decide to get some rest since I have been up for 23 hours straight. I go out to the hallway and turn right to Lily's bedroom.
"Hey, Lily! I'm going to go to bed. See you in the morning."
"Okay." Lily says.
I go back to my room and get under my covers and fall asleep in seconds.
