Taunting echoes scatter throughout the light deprived room, like whispers in an empty mind. The room looked as though it was frozen in time, any visitor would've sworn it was unnatural, that is, if anyone ever visited... which they didn't.  The only "lively" thing was the soft, shaky muttering that erupted from the corner of the room, although that wasn't very lively, was it? Lies and insecure beliefs tumbled out through chattering teeth, of which were scarcely too white, looking almost fake.
Pale skin was painted in patches of purples and blues, beautiful and yet so disgusting. Pink lips trembled and delicate hands twitched, grabbing onto the dirty, red duvet laying beneath. The small, skinny frame shook and rocked back and forth in a daze. Wavy, chocolate brown bangs fell over terrified dark eyes, filled with chaos and insanity.
Something so beautiful should have been cherished and yet it was thrown away, used. Somehow they still managed to stay faithful throughout it all, clinging to a strand of hope that had been fed to them so long ago. They still believe their beloved will come to rescue them, like a night in shining armour. And so they wait. They remain stubborn. So that the promise made to them will still be possible eventually, they would never bring such sorrow to their love.
They... he, will forever wait for his other half.
He will wait for his husband to return, to retrieve him, to claim him back once more.
...even if he has to wait an eternity.
