Leaving

a couple days after the baby was born Erik was acting so weird one night while he was singing to the baby I told him we need to talk he nodded kissed the baby and said

"go to the bedroom please"

I obeyed and went to the room and waited 5 min later he was right beside me

"Christine I have been wanting to tell you this but"

he stopped talking for a moment

"I have to leave"

my heart broke I started to cry

"what honey no please no don't leave" I was begging him

"Christine we our in dept if I don't we could be on the streets I'm going to perform/sell my music"

I could not stop crying he picked me up and put me on his lap he sang to me it helped but not enough then one question made me lose my control over my body

"how long Erik" he paused about 2 years"

I felt as if I was going to die I jumped up and ran he tried to catch me but this time I was to fast I ran to the library where I always cry I sat there for about 5 minutes balling till I hear

"hello?"

it was a girls voice it was just like my best friends in grade school then I look over to see my best friend Tonya standing there I scream and ran to her and hugged her as tight as I could

"oh my god Tonya how did you get here"

she looked at me smiling

"we'll Erik called me"

I turned around to go find Erik but he was already behind me I bumped into him h laughed I hugged him

"Christine while I'm away I thought you would be lonely so I invited Tonya to stay with you"

I was jumping up and down now

"I'm so happy" I screamed

I kissed Erik till I heard Someone clear there throat which was Tonya of course I forgot about her

"Tonya would you like to see my baby she looked surprise

"Christine you have a baby"

I lead her to Cozette room I picked her up she let out a little giggle

"here she is" I say I Tonya.

Her eyes get big "she looks just like you Christine"

she gazed at her for a moment

"she has Erik's eyes" she sounded excited now

"yes she dose"

Erik came behind me and hugged me she said

"Christine it's time for bed"

I looked at the clock it was 2AM

"okay"

I took Tonya to her room and went to ours I had one last question for Erik

"Erik when are you leaving"

I asked he look like he did not want to tell me

"tomorrow"

my heart broke for the 3rd time this night

"oh okay I said with tears streaming down my face

" Christine please don't cry the two years will fly by I promise pulse I have left you and the baby a gift"

I looked at him confused

"what gift" I asked

he gave me a small wrapped present I opened it inside there was a CD

"I recorded some of my songs so you and the baby could fall asleep at night"

it was he best gift ever I hugged him and like that he was gone.
