Chapter 9:Getting ready for cotillion

    It is the next day,mal And evie are in there dorm.Mal has pinkish purplelish hair still. And evie is helping mal get ready for cotillion. "Evie it's 5:00 in the morning,do we have to do this now", Said mal. "I don't care what the time is,you have to look fabulous at cotillion otherwise the people won't like you", Said evie. "Ok maybe you're right I do wanna look fabulous", Said mal. "That's the spirit", Said evie. Mal smiles. Evie shows mal her cotillion dress. "So mal Do you like the dress?", Asked evie. "Yes I like it", Said mal. "Ok mal how about you try on the dress", Said evie. "Ok", Said mal. Mal takes the dress with her to the bathroom in their dorm. When she's in the bathroom she changes into the dress. She comes out of the bathroom. "Omg you look great mal", Said evie. "Thanks buy this dress is a little tight", Said mal. "I will help I got my ruler", Said evie. "Ruler? Are you sure that's gonna help", Said mal. "Oh yes it will I will just put it around your body", Said evie. Evie puts the ruler around mal's body and touches the dress. "Is it better?", Asked evie. "Actually yes my dress is just right", Said mal. "Yay! It looks great on you and I'm so happy you're dress is not tight", Said evie. "Can I take it off now?", Asked mal. "Yes you can", Said evie. Mal walks to the bathroom and goes inside and puts her other clothes on. Mal goes back to evie. "So evie are you gonna try your dress on?", Asked mal. "Yes I will now", Said evie. Evie grabs her dress from her bed and goes to the bathroom and changes. "How do I look?", Asked evie. "Good you look good", Said mal. "Thank you", Said evie. Evie turns her dress. "It's so sparkly right?", Asked evie. "Yes it is", Said mal. All of a sudden someone knocks behind the door. "I will get it", Said evie. Evie walks to the door and opens it. It is doug. "Hi Doug", Said evie. "Wow evie you look beautiful,is that your cotillion dress", Asked doug. "Yes it is,why are you here?", Asked evie. "Because I want to go on a date with you", Said Doug. "Oh ok I'm gonna go change then", Said evie. "No no you don't need to change", Said doug. "Why", Said evie. "Because you look great", Said doug. "Thanks", Said evie. "And we are going somewhere that's a surprise", Said doug. "Oh cool surprises are great", Said evie. "So shall we?", Asked doug. "We shall", Said evie. "Bye evie", Said mal. "Oh bye mal", Said evie. Evie and Doug leave to their date. Mal closes the door. Mal walks to her bed and sits down and she finds her spell book. And then opens it and looks through the spells that she and her mother used. And while she is looking at it mal is smiling. After she looks through her spell book she closes it and puts it on the floor and then lays on her bed.
