Marcel POV
My mom was putting the last of the bags in the car while I went back into my room. I'm gonna miss this place. All the friends, all the parties, all the drama. I'm not gonna miss the drama. I started looking around and noticed my old bear. He was full with memories. Terrible memories. Memories I don't want to relive.
I heard my mom scream to come. I threw the bear in the trashcan , and walked downstairs. I saw my waiting in the car. I closed the front door and got in. All I could think about was what was gonna happen when I actually get to Atlanta. Would they tell me there is no treatment for my type of AIDS? Would they tell me it really wasn't that but something worse? I had so many things going through my head , I didn't notice Jordan texted me.
Text Conversation:
Jordan: What's up bro ?
Marcel: Nothing just in the car. How's your dad ?
Jordan: He didn't make it...
Marcel: Man, I'm sorry to hear that bro. You gonna be alright though , I promise.
Jordan: I know. I'm just glad me and James are together. I wouldn't be complete without him.
Marcel: Lol , well I hope you two lovebirds stay strong. I'm gonna miss the both of you.
Jordan: We're gonna miss you too lol. Marcel I gotta go , James just fell in the lake XD .
Marcel: Alright bro , see ya.
*End of Text Conversation*
I really hope Jordan and James really do stay strong. There are like a power couple.
We arrived at the airport just in time. I really had to go pee. I ran inside the men's' bathroom and went to one of the standup stalls. I unzipped my pants and let the waterfall go. I started signing in relief. I was sighing so loud , that I didn't even notice there was someone using the other standup stall right next to me. He looked about my age. He was 6'0 ft , brownskinned, with a really nice smile. Well, that's really because he was laughing at my sighing. His laugh was so contagious I started laughing.
"Nice laugh.", he said.
"Thanks.", I responded.
" I'm Jeremy." , he told me.
"I'm Marcel, nice to meet you Jeremy."
"Nice to meet you. I would properly greet but I'm sorta ..umm.." , He looked down and we both started laughing. We left talking and he told me he had to catch his flight. He did give me his number before he left though.
I found my mom waiting at for me at the terminal. She had already gave them our tickets so we decided to board the plane. I walked inside and felt this real cool breeze hit my face. I sat in my seat in the back which was also a window seat. I wanted to stare out the window and see the nice weather. Before we flew off, another group of people came in. Out of all those people, there was this one boy who looked so familiar. He came by and sat right next to me with this huge smile.
"Hey."
"Hi."
"So I'm guessing we're going to same place huh ?"
"Wait , what ?"
"Do you not remember me?"
I stared at him for a bit, and that's when it hit me.
"Oh what's up Jeremy?"
"Heading to Atlanta , what about you?"
"Same thing."
We both started laughing and the flight took off. I was really excited about this even after all that happened. Probably me and Jeremy would become real good friends. Maybe even more than friends...
I turned to Jeremy and couldn't help but smile at his handsome face. Ugh , I hate that I'm gay...
