Perhaps this was a dream of a mad God lost in his own world craving another, just to get a taste of the golden sun on his tongue, maybe it was just a flimsy dream to own the light, to have something others can only dream of.

But only he knew what the other meant to him.

He stared as if the boy might slip away from his sight at any second, his tan skin shined, his lips of a soft red like a blossomed rose and his eyes were like the stars. Taehyung stared at him like it were the first time he had laid his eyes upon him, with awe and wonder, of excitement and nerves.

Hoseok had dark hair with golden streaks, his robe was white and red at the edges, his necklace was large and thick of gold and silver it showed his status within Olympia, his mother had taught him how to paint his eyes with golden colors but nothing was as vibrant as his smile. He was beautiful and Taehyung had been in love for centuries.

And every one hundred years there would be a large gathering or party for all the Gods and Goddesses to regroup and have a chance to reconnect without it being about work.

Taehyung watched him smile and dance during the god's ceremonies, he was nursing a cup of red wine slowly, just content with being mesmerized by him on the sidelines.

He was struck on his ribs with an elbow, surprised he turned to smile at his friend.

"Jimin, since when have you been here?"

"Just got here, these gatherings become pretty mundane after a couple of centuries." he sipped at his beer and looked at Hoseoks direction and with a small smile, he turned back towards Taehyung. "Really? Still?"

Taehyung laughed, setting his wine down on the golden table behind himself. "Always."

Jimin chuckled, taking another sip of beer, "Why don't you join him? I'm sure he'd be more than happy to have a dance with The Kim Taehyung himself."

Taehyung looked back at Hoseok and smiled sweetly if not a bit sorrowful, "He would see me like the rest."

Jimin raised his brows at him, frowning he set his beer beside Taehyungs forgotten wine and crossed his arms. "While Hoseok is kind to everyone, anyone can see how he looks at you with different eyes."

Taehyung laughed at this, laughed hard enough for tears to form in the corner of his eyes, as he wiped them away he shook his head. "Please, Jimin, take your mockery and give it to someone deserving of it."

"The only joke here is that ugly face of yours, " he smacked his arm. "I would never joke like that, and you know it."

"Taehyung, " they both turned towards the soft voice. "I thought you've grown tired of these silly parties." He grabbed ahold of Taehyung bicep with a curled smile. He had blond hair and green eyes, he had a pretty face by a god's standards and if he had worn the robes of the Gods and Goddesses he would have been confused for an actual deity and not a worker of the temples in Olympia.

"Zelus, good to see you." Taehyung acknowledged him with feigned interest, he was not one to be rude and would encourage kindness with those weaker than him, that was what Zeus had taught them, equality was essential in both kindness and respect.

Jimin frowned, he had always been annoyed by him which was strange as Jimin had always gotten along with even the most stoned faced Gods he'd met.

Quickly Jimin smiled at him, he would treat him as he would anyone else, even with his nagging annoyance at the man currently grabbing Taehyungs arm. "Zelus have you finished your duties? You know how Harper gets when you run off without notice."
