Chapter 38 ~ telling the truth

-Brads POV-

James ran out of the room he said he needed the toilet but I know he doesn't

"I'm going to go as well" I smiled as I walked out of the room and started running to the toilets

Once I reached the toilets I heard sobbing, I walked up to the cubicle and stood there for a second

"James?" I asked

I then heard the sobbing stop

"Brad?" he asked

"Yep. what's wrong?" I whispered but load enough so he could hear me

He then opened the door

"I can't tell you here" he shook his head

"Outside?"

He got up as I followed him outside. I hate seeing James like this it's happened before when his last girlfriend broke up with him he wasn't seen for days

"Go on" I gestured

"You know Sophie's mum said that she went to the park for 'fresh air'" he paused as I nodded "well umm I kinda texted her saying if we could make long distance work but she said she couldn't and I have a feeling that it's my fault she needed fresh air so she could think better or just stop thinking about me" he stopped as he cried into my shoulder

"James I'm sure it's not that, it could be anything" I reassured him

This is all my fault that James believes it was him I told him it was and he must of believed me but I didn't mean it I didn't

"Like what then?"

"Umm she might of missed Bournemouth or she might of wanted to visit the park for old times I don't know it could be anything, maybe something she hasn't told us about?"

He nodded as he wiped his tears

"We better get back hey" he smiled slightly as I nodded and we walked back inside

All eyes were on us as we walked through the door to Sophie's hospital room

-James POV-

It was quite in the hospital room but a good quite so everybody could think but then it started to get awkward

"So James how long were you and Sophie dating?" Sophie's Mum asked

"Well since around June so it was a couple of month" I sighed

"I don't get it" she said shaking her head

"What don't you get?" I asked

"You broke up right" she paused as I nodded "why are you here if you broke up?"

"I'm still deeply in love with her" I paused "I'll go if you don't want me here"

I stood up as she pulled my arm back down

"No no stay" she smiled "so why did you break up again Sophie said she was going to tell me but she didn't really get time"

"Oh long distance reasons when she moved here" I smiled softly

"Sorry for bringing this up" she said sighing

"It's fine you deserved a reason" I commented

Then it went silent again for a few minutes before a nurse came into the room

"Visiting hours are over sorry your have to leave" she smiled

We nodded as we all stood up as we headed to our hotel

-Sophie's Mum POV-

I got a taxi back from the hospital which took me back home when I got back I saw Tony, Oliver and Georgia all on the sofa watching a film

"How is she?" Georgia asked as they paused the film

"Still in a coma but let's just hope for the best hey" I said sitting on the edge of the sofa kissing her on the head

"Mummy how long until she is out of a coma?" Oliver asked

"We don't know darling but hopefully soon" I smiled "hey James was at the hospital"

As I said James Tonys head looked from the TV straight to me

"And what did he say" he asked

"That's he is still deeply in love with her" I said smiling

"Why are you smiling? He broke her heart!" He shouted

"No! They couldn't handle long distance how is that breaking her heart!" I shouted back

"Can't you see he is just using her!"

"Oh really then why would he even bother coming all the way here to Manchester when he should be resting up for his show tomorrow"

"He's using her I tell you and I don't want her going anywhere near him when she is back on her feet" he sighed fixing his eyes back on the TV

"She 19 of course she's going to have heart breaks but they all lead up to the one and I think he is the one"

"Well of course you would! Sophie obviously doesn't otherwise why would she move back to Manchester if she knew that she wouldn't want to carry on with a long distance relationship? Don't you want what's best for your daughter" he said looking back at me

"Yes, yes I do and I know he is the best thing for OUR daughter she was the happiest I've ever seen her when she was with him when I went to Bournemouth but you didn't see that because YOU WERE TO BUSY WITH SOME OTHER WOMAN!" I shouted as I covered my mouth realising what I just said

Georgia and Oliver looked so shocked as they looked at me. I ran upstairs to my bedroom and locked the door as I cried into my pillow, nothing ever seams to go right nothing
