Here i am. Back to the beginning. My name is Violet Hiro and this is my story.
.........................................................

I stood there as i watched the men move our stuff back into our old apartment. I look down to see terriermon nestled in my bag.

"Momentai," he whispers to me.

I give him a small smile, "momentai."

Everything looked the same from where i stood. The door still had our family name on it. There is a noise from down the hall and i turn and see these siblings coming out of there apartment.

The girl waves at me but i just look away. I look down in my hand at the picture of my late brother. Suddenly there is a huge gust of wind and the picture flies out of my hand and off the balcony.

"No!" I yell as i try to reach out for it. I grab my bag and run for the stairs knowing that the elevator would take forever.

Once i was out of the building i looked for the picture. From the corner of my eye i saw it floating down the street. I ran after it pushing people out of the way.

"Excuse me"

"Sorry"

"Watch out" i say as i push the siblings from earlier out of the way.

As soon as i'm about to grab it, i stop noticing all the cars that are speeding by. I wait impatiently for the light to turn red. When it does i book it to the other side. The picture is still in view but is still out of reach. I'm closing in on it but these group of kids are in my way.

"Out of the way!" i yell as i push past them.

"Well that was rude!" i heard one of them shout.

I continued to run. Once i was close enough i jumped up and grabbed the picture.

"Yes!" i cheered. After my little victory a little bit of guilt hits for pushing those people out of the way.

I walk back to the kids i pushed earlier.

"I'm sorry for my rudeness earlier, i was just trying to get my picture back, i didn't mean any harm," i apologize.

"That's alright, it was our fault," the short boy said.

"No it wasn't she ran into us," the boy with goggles said.

The girl standing next to him hit his arm.

"What our friend was trying to say is apology excepted," she said.

"I'm Cody, this is Yoli, Ken, T.K., and Davis," he introduced.

"Nice to meet you i'm-" before i could finish my phone rang. I look at the caller before putting it away.

"I have to go," i told them as i ran off.

As i'm walking back i pull out my ukulele and play.

"There will come a soldier, who carries a mighty sword. He will tear your city down, oh lei o lai o lord," i sing.

Terriermon poked his head out of my bag and began to hum along.

Once i got to the apartment complex i saw the same boy and girl from earlier. I hurry into my apartment before they could see me. When i'm inside i see that everything is unloaded. I don't bother telling my mom that i'm home i just go straight to my room.

I set my bag down and turn on the lights before flopping onto my bed.

Terriermon hopes out of my bag and comes to me on my bed.

"Everything is different since we left," he tells me.

I nod.

"Do you think they still have that ice cream cart?" I laugh.

"We can go and look for it tomorrow," i tell him. He gets up and gets my ukulele.

"You know how mom feels about playing at night," i warn.

"But the suns still up," he wines.

I sigh.

"Come on Violet, momentai"

"Fine"

I take the ukulele and play softly.

"O lei o lai o lei o lai o lord. He will tear your city down, o-"

"Lights out!" my mom yells.

"O lei o lai o lord" i finish quietly.
