Crap. Hermione forgot that Draco was still there. She debated whether or not to tell him what happened. Perhaps foolishly, she decided to tell him the truth.

"Draco..."

Draco

Draco saw how much pain she was in and didn't want to push her.
And at that moment, she looked so fragile, so breakable, unlike the public image she had made for herself.

"Draco..." She whispered his real name, not his surname, and he fell in love with her again. And wanted to get rid of whatever was causing her pain.

He gently wrapped his arms around her and she buried her face in his chest, sobbing. "Shush, Hermione, it's okay. Take a deep breath."

He patted down her and slowly but surely, she calmed down. It was late night, and she was very tired. Even standing up, she fell asleep with her face still in Draco's chest.

He picked her up and gently put her in her bed, covering her with her blanket. Then, he gave her a kiss on the forehead, as light as a feather, smiling slightly.

It was ready two in the morning, so he decided to go his apartment and come back later to make her breakfast. He wanted to win her heart. He already knew that she was dating Ron, but he also knew that there was something he did that stressed her out.

*a couple of hours later* [you know, that thing from sponge]

Hermione

Hermione woke up to the smell of something delicious cooking. She rubbed her eyes and suddenly remembered the events from last night. Was Draco still in her house??

Suddenly, Draco walked into her room. "Wakey Wakey, beauty queen." Draco smirked.

"Shut up, Draco. I'm going to change, can you leave for a few minutes?"

"Yea sure."

Draco left, and Hermione locked the door. What should she wear? She wanted to look sexy and pretty but without overdoing it.

She decided on a short black top that stopped above her belly button and dark blue jeans. She was barefoot, as she preferred not to have people walking around in shoes in her house. It seemed as though Draco had noticed that, as he walked around in socks.

She opened the door and walked into the kitchen, where Draco was making pizza, with a mystery dish to the side. Upon looking at the clock, Hermione realized it was almost noon. She almost panicked before realizing it was the weekend, so she did not have work today.

"Draco, what's all of this?" He stopped and turned towards her.

"Just a favour for a friend." He gave her a genuine smile.

"Now come, topping the pizza is the best part." She beckoned her over.

Hermione saw that he had made two small pies, and she smirked. "Let's make it a competition. Whoever has the best tasting pizza has to take orders from the other person for a day."

Draco smirked. "Deal."

Hermione had the best time she had had in a long time, topping pizza and throwing the occasional handful of cheese at Draco's face. After putting the pizzas in the oven, Hermoine sat down, giggling.

"Thanks for this, Draco."

"Anytime Hermione."

"I need to go grocery shopping, and these pizzas won't be ready to eat for at least an hour. Can you take them out when they're done? And then go relax at home. I'll call you when they're ready."

"Okay, see you later."

Hermione chuckled and grabbed some muggle money, leaving to the nearest supermarket.

She went to Stop&Shop, a common muggle grocery store and bought a couple of vegetables to make some soup. She also bought whipped cream bottles and waffle batter. [Heh, you'll find out why later]

She bought the items and hurried home, after saying thank you to the grocer. She couldn't get the giddy smile off her face as she practically danced home. While walking, she got the unnerving feeling that she was being watched, but she brushed it off. As she was nearing the building, someone suddenly grabbed her from behind and apparated her into her room, forcing her to the floor. The heels she was wearing fell off and she gasped, the air knocked out of her lungs.

She turned around to her attacker. "Ron? What do you think you're doing?"

"No, Hermione! What do you think you're doing? Choosing an apartment without my knowledge?"
One slap.
"Going behind my back?"
Two slaps.
"Inviting Malfoy of all people to your house??"
In all his rage, he picked up a chair and smashed it over her head, and she screamed. How had he found out about Draco? Hermoine slowly lost her consciousness. The last thing she saw was a handsome blonde man run into the room.
Stupefy
...

Draco

Draco was in his room trying to dress a little bit more decently when he heard a blood-curdling scream. And it was coming from Hermione's room. He ran into the room, fury in his eyes. And he saw the weasel Ron attacking Hermione menacingly.

Stupefy

Draco cast the spell at Ron, who went flying across the room.
"Mind your own business Malfoy!"

Draco growled and lifted Ron up from the front of his shirt.
"You hurt her again, you won't live another day o speak of it. Now go!"
He threw Ron out the door and kicked.

Ron glared at Draco. "Today, you have made an enemy, Malfoy." He apparated off.

Draco's vision was red in anger, but he still managed to gently place Hermione in bed, tending to her wounds.
