this used to be a yeonbin book, but i hated the idea so i unpublished it.

(and yes, i changed their ages. i dont know how old they will be yet but kun and ten will go to highschool too- ik its weird)

xiaojun was the type to actually give a fuck. he cared whether his friends were hurt or had problems, and he cared about what people thought of him. and sometimes, he didn't like that he cared so much.

it was six in the morning, and xiaojun decided it would be a great time to wake up. he hated the whole aspect of school yet loved it at the same time.

the boy got off his bed and sat on the floor, with no lingering thoughts in his head. he liked that, having no thought in his head until he was finally ready to take it. the blank mind helped him live for once. but that didn't last long.

"xiaojun! get your ass down here!" he smiled as kun yelled for him to come down. "i'll be there soon!" he yelled back.

kun was one of his roommates, as he had three, and he was the sweetest. sure, he has his ups and downs but he really manages to take care of most things. two of them not being lucas and ten. they were loud and noisy. except it was okay, because it really felt like home.

xiaojun waited for minutes to pass until he finally got up to brush his teeth. he looked into the mirror's reflection to find a somewhat blurry boy. it was him, of course. but he didn't feel like himself. he felt like someone else.

no one in particular, though.

he washed his face and grabbed his clothes for the day. their school didn't have uniforms, which was nice, but they still couldn't wear baggy nor very tight clothing.

xiaojun hated that rule. baggy clothes were nice and felt comfortable. but of course, he must listen if he wants to get an education.

he went into the kitchen where everyone was, and saw everyone on their phones. "hey guys."
lucas smiled and pulled xiaojun into a hug.

"hey jun," ten said with an unenthusiastic tone. "also, my boyfriend is coming over at five. you guys better not embarrass me."

xiaojun nodded while grabbing a bowl and putting cereal in it. "i don't have vocal lessons today though," he said to ten.

"oh. well hang with lucas i guess." lucas smiled again, his eyes creasing and his nose scrunching up.

kun observed the situation, and didn't say anything about it. he usually does, yeah, but today he wasn't in the mood. like most days, actually.

it was almost seven, and they all had to be by school at eight. "oh fuck we gotta go." kun doesn't promote cursing, but when he does curse, it's a time where it's needed.

they've finally arrived. and let me tell you, they're not very happy. school is fun, sometimes, but who the fuck likes school like that?

besides that, xiaojun and lucas are in the same class for first period. which means xiaojun getting annoyed for an hour because of lucas talking about lame shit.

today was different though, lucas was joyfully staring at two new kids in the classroom. xiaojun didn't pay much attention to them, other than the fact that they were chinese.

xiaojun also sat beside yuqi, everyone thought she was the most adorable person ever. and to be honest, xiaojun admits to thinking that. so many of his classmates are jealous that he gets to sit in between lucas and yuqi.

but xiaojun didn't care about their social status, and only about their personality. yuqi was sweet and crazy (in a good way), but that's what people liked about her. her voice was deep too, well, for female standards.

but yuqi already had eyes on someone else, too bad her "fans" never realized. xiaojun and yuqi talked once in a while when the teacher wasn't looking. which is a lot. the teacher sucked at teaching, gave too much homework, and didn't care if students got bullied.

but that's just the students' opinions. the princpal and other teachers thought mr. bae was amazing..

enough of that, the bell was about to ring in a few minutes. meaning all of the students would pack up and run out of class. as they should. 🤠

xiaojun hit lucas on the back, earning a groan. "what the heck jun."

he giggled and got out the classroom, navigating to second. while talking to lucas, he wasn't looking at where he was going, and accidentally bumped into someone.

"ouch, watch it."
